The!Anemometer!ML90s!is!a! device! for! measuring! wind ! s pe ed ! b etw e en ! 0.4!and!35!
m/s.!The!sensor!is!a!propellerEtype!anemometer!with!the!axis!of!rotatio n!parallel!to!
the! direction! of! the ! wind.! The! number! of! revolutions! is! counted! via! a! magnet! and!
reed!sensor!and!is!converted!to!wind!velocity.!

The! Anemometer! is! an! I2C! digital! se n so r,! wh ich ! gives! calibrated! valu es! of! the!
measured! quantity.! This! sensor! can! only! be! connected! to! special! interfaces! that!
support!I2C!digital!sensor!like!the!CMA!MoLab!interface.!!

The!Anemometer!ML90s!is!a!digital!sensor,!which!generates!a!pulse!every!0.1!m/sec!
wind.!The!resolution!of!the!sensor!is!0.1!m/s.!!

This! Anemometer! works! only! with! specific! interfaces.! The! sensor! will! be!
automatically! detected! when! connected! to! such! an! in terfa ce .! For! detailed!
information! about! measurements! with! sensors! c on su lt! the! User! Manuals! of! the!

The!Anemometer!is!supplied!with!a!factory!calibration !and!gives!values!in!m/s.!!

Using!the!Anemometer!!

propeller.!This!will!cause!th e!propeller!to!spin.!Wind!speed!must!be!at!least!0.4!m/s!
