MAINTENANCE
Your appliance is virtually maintenance-
free. For proper performance, the appliance
must be kept clean. Blocked or clogged air
intake vents will cause the appliance to over-
heat. When cleaning is needed, unplug the
cord and clean dust and lint from air intake
openings with a small brush attach-
ment. The outer surface of the appliance
should be wiped clean with a cloth only. If
abnormal conditions occur, unplug the
appliance, allow it to cool and return it for
repair to an authorized service representative
only. No repairs should be attempted by the
consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be
pulled or twisted. Never wrap the cord around
the appliance. Damage will occur at the high-
flex point of entry into the appliance, causing
it to rupture and short circuit.
Inspect the cord frequently for damage. STOP
USE IMMEDIATELY if damage is visible or if
unit stops or operates intermittently.
STORAGE - Important
When not in use, your appliance should be
disconnected and stored in a safe, dry
location, out of reach of children. Do not
wrap line cord around the appliance. Allow
the cord to hang or lie loose and straight at
the point of entry into the appliance.
LIMITED THREE YEAR WARRANTY
Conair will repair or replace, at our option, your
appliance free of charge for 36 months
from the date of purchase if the appliance is
defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return
the defective product to the service centre
listed below together with your sales slip
and $7.50 for postage and handling. In the
absence of a receipt, the warranty period
shall be 36 months from the date of
manufacture.

L’UTILISATEUR
Cet appareil ne demande pratiquement aucun
entretien. Pour un bon rendement, gardez-
le propre. Des évents bloqués ou obstrués
pourront faire surchauffer l’appareil. Si vous
devez le nettoyer, débranchez le cordon et
nettoyez la poussière ou la charpie des ou-
vertures à l’aide d’une petite brosse. La sur-
face extérieure de l’appareil ne devrait être
essuyée qu’avec un linge humide. Si une
fonctionnement anormal survient, débranche
l’appareil, laissez-le refroidir et présentez-le
à un centre de réparation agréé. Aucune ré-
paration ne devrait être faite par le consom-
mateur.
MISE EN GARDE
Ne tirez ni ne tordez JAMAIS le cordon.
N’enroulez jamais le cordon autour de
l’appareil. Il pourrait s’endommager au point
de flexion à l’entrée dans l’appareil; un bris
pourrait causer un court-circuit. Vérifiez l’état
du cordon régulièrement. S’il est endom-
magé ou si l’appareil cesse de fonctionner
ou fonctionne par intermittence, CESSEZ
D’UTILISER L’APPAREIL IMMÉDIATEMENT.
RANGEMENT
Quand vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil, débran-

Cet appareil est prévu pour l’usage ménager.
Branchez-le dans une prise de courant ordi-
naire (60 Hz) fournissant une tension de 110
à 125 VCA. Cet appareil est muni d’une fiche
polarisée (une lame est plus large que l’autre).
Par mesure de sécurité, cette lame ne convient
que d’une façon dans une prise polarisée. Si la
fiche n’entre pas complètement dans la prise,
inversez-la. Si elle ne convient toujours pas,
prenez contact avec un maître-électrieien. Ne-
tentez pas de contrer cette mesure de sécurité.
CONAIR VOLUME SERIES
L’appareil à coiffer VOLUME SERIES de Conair
convient à la perfection pour ajouter volume et
lustre élégants. Le gros tube en céramique don-
ne ampleur et souplesse alors que la brosse à
crin souple crée un lustre et une douceur d’une
beauté inégalée.
2. L’utilisation de l’appareil par, sur ou près
des enfants ou de personnes souffrant de
certains handicaps, demande une surveil-
lance étroite.

Bien des facteurs de la vie moderne comme
la climatisation, le contact avec les fibres syn-
thétiques et la pollution de l’air contribuent à la
formation d’électricité statique dans les chev-
eux. Même le brossage et le séchage avec une
serviette peuvent créer cet effet, rendant les
cuticules plus rugueuses.
Il en résulte des cheveux d’apparence mate. Et
l’électricité statique rend les cheveux « volants
» et difficiles à coiffer.
Le générateur d’ions produit un courant d’ions
négatifs qui aident à neutraliser l’électricité sta-
tique et à adoucir les cuticules pour rendre les
cheveux lustrés, souples et faciles à coiffer.
TEMPÉRATURES
L’appareil offre deux températures et un réglage
frais. Utilisez la température élevée pour le
séchage initial et la température basse une fois
les cheveux presque secs et pour la coiffure.
Utilisez le réglage frais pour créer une coiffure
durable.Glissez l’interrupteur à la première po-
sition pour le réglage frais, à la deuxième pour
la température basse et à la troisième pour la
température élevée.
ROTATION
L’appareil offre deux vitesses de rotation. Pour
faire tourner la tête de la brosse, appuyez sur
les boutons << et >>. Ils font tourner la tête
dans le sens horaire ou antihoraire. La brosse
tournera plus rapidement si l’appareil est réglé
à la température élevée. À la température basse,
la brosse tourne plus lentement.
La brosse ne tourne pas si l’appareil est au ré-
glage frais. Pour de meilleurs résultats, utilisez
la fonction rotative de la brosse afin de créer
volume et lustre élégants.
ÉTUI PROTECTEUR
Après chaque utilisation, assurez-vous toujours
de glisser l’étui protecteur sur la brosse. Vous
en protègerez ainsi les poils et les empêcherez
de s’écraser.
MODE D’EMPLOI
• Si vous avez les cheveux longs ou épais, il
sera plus simple et plus rapide d’utiliser d’abord
un sèche-cheveux afin d’éliminer l’humidité ex-
cédentaire. Pour un volume accru, séchez vos
cheveux, la tête renversée.
• Une fois les cheveux secs à 80 pour cent,
passez à l’appareil VOLUME SERIES pour créer
la coiffure que vous désirez.
VOLUME ET SOUPLESSE MAXIMAUX
1) Commencez par séparer vos cheveux.
2) Pour mettre l’appareil en marche, glissez
l’interrupteur à la position appropriée à votre
type de cheveux.
3) Placez l’appareil sur les cheveux, près de la
racine et brossez une mèche à la fois pour
bien démêler les cheveux.
4) Pour une ampleur accrue à la racine, tenez
la brosse au niveau des racines pendant
quelques secondes.
5) Passez la brosse dans les cheveux jusqu’à
la pointe et, à l’approche de la pointe,
commencez à faire tourner la brosse en
l’éloignant de la tête en appuyant sur le
bouton de rotation approprié.

This appliance is intended for household use.
Use on Alternating Current (50/60 hertz) only.
Standard curling appliances are designed to
operate at 110 to 125 volts AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other.) As a safety feature,
this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt
to defeat this safety feature.

body as you style whilst the soft bristles create
ultimate shine and smoothness to hair.
IONIC TECHNOLOGY
Many aspects of modern living, including air
conditioning, contact with man-made fibres
and air pollution contribute to a build-up of
static electricity in the hair. Even brushing and
towel drying the hair, can increase these levels
causing the surface of the cuticle to become
rough.

16. This appliance was set at the factory to
operate at 125 volts.
Consequently, hair may have a dull appearance.
Also high levels of static charge cause hair to
become “fly-away” and difficult to style.
The ion generator produces a stream of nega-
tive ions which act to neutralise the static
charge, smoothing the scales on the cuticle
for shiny, smooth and manageable hair so you
can achieve your desired style easily.
HEAT SETTINGS
The Conair VOLUME SERIES is perfect for
adding gorgeous volume and shine to styles.
The large ceramic barrel gives fullness and
body as you style whilst the soft bristles create
ultimate shine and smoothness to hair.
ROTATION SETTINGS
There are two rotation speed settings. To
make the brush head rotate, press the buttons
marked << and >>, these will make the brush
head rotate clockwise and anticlockwise. When
the appliance is set on the high heat setting
the brush head rotation will be faster. When
the appliance is set on the low heat setting the
speed will be slower.
When the appliance is used on the cool setting,
the brush head will not rotate. For best results,
use the rotating brush feature to create styles
with gorgeous volume and shine.
PROTECTIVE COVER
After every use, always ensure the protective
shield is placed over the brush head. This
protects the bristles and stops them from col-
lapsing.
7) For even more volume, allow the brush
to rotate, winding the entire section of hair
around the barrel, release the rotate button
and the leave the brush in the hair for a
few seconds.
8) To release the section, press and hold the
opposite rotation button to un-wide the
hair section.
9) Repeat as necessary.
10) After use, switch off and unplug the
appliance.
11) Allow to cool before storing away.
12) Place protective shield over brush head to
protect the bristles.
HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS
• To dene layers and give shape to styles,
follow step 5 and repeat through section.
• To get root volume and body through the
top section of hair, follow steps 3 to 5 but
using an upward motion.
• For long lasting results, follow steps 3 to
7 but then slide the on/off switch to the cool
setting (first position on the switch) for a few
seconds, this will set the hair. Slide the switch
to the low heat setting (second position on
the switch) and proceed with step 8.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• If you have long or thick hair, you may nd
it quicker and easier to use a hairdryer first,
to rough dry your hair and remove the excess
moisture. For added volume, turn your head
upside down as you dry.
• Once the hair is 80% dry, you should start to
create your style using the VOLUME SERIES
styler.
MAXIMUM VOLUME AND BODY
1) Start by sectioning the hair.
2) To turn the appliance on, slide the on/off
switch to the correct heat setting for your
hair.
3) Place the appliance into the hair, close to
the roots and brush through the section to
remove any tangles.
4) For added root lift, hold the brush in place
at the root for a few seconds.
5) Move the brush through the hair, towards
the ends and as you reach the end of the
section, start to rotate the brush away
from your head by pressing and holding
the appropriate rotate button.
6) As you do this, resist the rotation of the
brush by pulling the brush downwards.
This will create tension through the section
of hair.
IMPORTANT! It may take several attempts to
perfect this technique, if the brush spins too
quickly, simply release the rotation button and
remove from the hair.

8) Pour dégager la mèche, tenez le bouton de
rotation inverse enfoncé pour désenrouler
les cheveux.
9) Répétez au besoin.
10) Après l’usage, éteignez et débranchez
l’appareil.
11) Laissez-le refroidir avant de le ranger.
12) Glissez l’étui protecteur sur la brosse afin
d’en protéger les poils.
TRUCS ET CONSEILS PRATIQUES
• Pour dénir les couches et donner forme
aux coiffures, suivez le point 5 et répétez tout
au long de la mèche.
• Pour un volume et de la souplesse au niveau
de la racine et dans le haut de la tête, suivez les
points 3 à 5, dans un mouvement vers le haut.
• Pour une coiffure durable, suivez les points 3
à 7 mais faites glisser l’appareil au réglage frais
pour la mise en plis. Réglez ensuite l’appareil

Bien des facteurs de la vie moderne comme
la climatisation, le contact avec les fibres syn-
thétiques et la pollution de l’air contribuent à la
formation d’électricité statique dans les chev-
eux. Même le brossage et le séchage avec une
serviette peuvent créer cet effet, rendant les
cuticules plus rugueuses.
Il en résulte des cheveux d’apparence mate. Et
l’électricité statique rend les cheveux « volants
» et difficiles à coiffer.
Le générateur d’ions produit un courant d’ions
négatifs qui aident à neutraliser l’électricité sta-
tique et à adoucir les cuticules pour rendre les
cheveux lustrés, souples et faciles à coiffer.
TEMPÉRATURES
L’appareil offre deux températures et un réglage
frais. Utilisez la température élevée pour le
séchage initial et la température basse une fois
les cheveux presque secs et pour la coiffure.
Utilisez le réglage frais pour créer une coiffure
durable.Glissez l’interrupteur à la première po-
sition pour le réglage frais, à la deuxième pour
la température basse et à la troisième pour la
température élevée.
ROTATION
L’appareil offre deux vitesses de rotation. Pour
faire tourner la tête de la brosse, appuyez sur
les boutons << et >>. Ils font tourner la tête
dans le sens horaire ou antihoraire. La brosse
tournera plus rapidement si l’appareil est réglé
à la température élevée. À la température basse,
la brosse tourne plus lentement.
La brosse ne tourne pas si l’appareil est au ré-
glage frais. Pour de meilleurs résultats, utilisez
la fonction rotative de la brosse afin de créer
volume et lustre élégants.
ÉTUI PROTECTEUR
Après chaque utilisation, assurez-vous toujours
de glisser l’étui protecteur sur la brosse. Vous
en protègerez ainsi les poils et les empêcherez
de s’écraser.
MODE D’EMPLOI
• Si vous avez les cheveux longs ou épais, il
sera plus simple et plus rapide d’utiliser d’abord
un sèche-cheveux afin d’éliminer l’humidité ex-
cédentaire. Pour un volume accru, séchez vos
cheveux, la tête renversée.
• Une fois les cheveux secs à 80 pour cent,
passez à l’appareil VOLUME SERIES pour créer
la coiffure que vous désirez.
VOLUME ET SOUPLESSE MAXIMAUX
1) Commencez par séparer vos cheveux.
2) Pour mettre l’appareil en marche, glissez
l’interrupteur à la position appropriée à votre
type de cheveux.
3) Placez l’appareil sur les cheveux, près de la
racine et brossez une mèche à la fois pour
bien démêler les cheveux.
4) Pour une ampleur accrue à la racine, tenez
la brosse au niveau des racines pendant
quelques secondes.
5) Passez la brosse dans les cheveux jusqu’à
la pointe et, à l’approche de la pointe,
commencez à faire tourner la brosse en
l’éloignant de la tête en appuyant sur le
bouton de rotation approprié.

static electricity in the hair. Even brushing and
towel drying the hair, can increase these levels
causing the surface of the cuticle to become
rough.

Consequently, hair may have a dull appearance.
Also high levels of static charge cause hair to
become “fly-away” and difficult to style.
The ion generator produces a stream of nega-
tive ions which act to neutralise the static
charge, smoothing the scales on the cuticle
for shiny, smooth and manageable hair so you
can achieve your desired style easily.
HEAT SETTINGS
The Conair VOLUME SERIES is perfect for
adding gorgeous volume and shine to styles.
The large ceramic barrel gives fullness and
body as you style whilst the soft bristles create
ultimate shine and smoothness to hair.
ROTATION SETTINGS
There are two rotation speed settings. To
make the brush head rotate, press the buttons
marked << and >>, these will make the brush
head rotate clockwise and anticlockwise. When
the appliance is set on the high heat setting
the brush head rotation will be faster. When
the appliance is set on the low heat setting the
speed will be slower.
When the appliance is used on the cool setting,
the brush head will not rotate. For best results,
use the rotating brush feature to create styles
with gorgeous volume and shine.
PROTECTIVE COVER
After every use, always ensure the protective
shield is placed over the brush head. This
protects the bristles and stops them from col-
lapsing.
7) For even more volume, allow the brush
to rotate, winding the entire section of hair
around the barrel, release the rotate button
and the leave the brush in the hair for a
few seconds.
8) To release the section, press and hold the
opposite rotation button to un-wide the
hair section.
9) Repeat as necessary.
10) After use, switch off and unplug the
appliance.
11) Allow to cool before storing away.
12) Place protective shield over brush head to
protect the bristles.
HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS
• To dene layers and give shape to styles,
follow step 5 and repeat through section.
• To get root volume and body through the
top section of hair, follow steps 3 to 5 but
using an upward motion.
• For long lasting results, follow steps 3 to
7 but then slide the on/off switch to the cool
setting (first position on the switch) for a few
seconds, this will set the hair. Slide the switch
to the low heat setting (second position on
the switch) and proceed with step 8.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• If you have long or thick hair, you may nd
it quicker and easier to use a hairdryer first,
to rough dry your hair and remove the excess
moisture. For added volume, turn your head
upside down as you dry.
• Once the hair is 80% dry, you should start to
create your style using the VOLUME SERIES
styler.
MAXIMUM VOLUME AND BODY
1) Start by sectioning the hair.
2) To turn the appliance on, slide the on/off
switch to the correct heat setting for your
hair.
3) Place the appliance into the hair, close to
the roots and brush through the section to
remove any tangles.
4) For added root lift, hold the brush in place
at the root for a few seconds.
5) Move the brush through the hair, towards
the ends and as you reach the end of the
section, start to rotate the brush away
from your head by pressing and holding
the appropriate rotate button.
6) As you do this, resist the rotation of the
brush by pulling the brush downwards.
This will create tension through the section
of hair.
IMPORTANT! It may take several attempts to
perfect this technique, if the brush spins too
quickly, simply release the rotation button and
remove from the hair.

11) Laissez-le refroidir avant de le ranger.
12) Glissez l’étui protecteur sur la brosse afin
d’en protéger les poils.

• Pour dénir les couches et donner forme
aux coiffures, suivez le point 5 et répétez tout
au long de la mèche.
• Pour un volume et de la souplesse au niveau
de la racine et dans le haut de la tête, suivez les
points 3 à 5, dans un mouvement vers le haut.
• Pour une coiffure durable, suivez les points 3
à 7 mais faites glisser l’appareil au réglage frais

MAINTENANCE
Your appliance is virtually maintenance-
free. For proper performance, the appliance
must be kept clean. Blocked or clogged air
intake vents will cause the appliance to over-
heat. When cleaning is needed, unplug the
cord and clean dust and lint from air intake
openings with a small brush attach-
ment. The outer surface of the appliance

STORAGE - Important

Cet appareil ne demande pratiquement aucun
entretien. Pour un bon rendement, gardez-
le propre. Des évents bloqués ou obstrués
pourront faire surchauffer l’appareil. Si vous
devez le nettoyer, débranchez le cordon et
nettoyez la poussière ou la charpie des ou-
vertures à l’aide d’une petite brosse. La sur-
face extérieure de l’appareil ne devrait être
essuyée qu’avec un linge humide. Si une

l’appareil, laissez-le refroidir et présentez-le

D’UTILISATION
Cet appareil est prévu pour l’usage ménager.
Branchez-le dans une prise de courant ordi-
naire (60 Hz) fournissant une tension de 110
à 125 VCA. Cet appareil est muni d’une fiche
polarisée (une lame est plus large que l’autre).
Par mesure de sécurité, cette lame ne convient
que d’une façon dans une prise polarisée. Si la
fiche n’entre pas complètement dans la prise,
inversez-la. Si elle ne convient toujours pas,
prenez contact avec un maître-électrieien. Ne-
tentez pas de contrer cette mesure de sécurité.
CONAIR VOLUME SERIES
L’appareil à coiffer VOLUME SERIES de Conair
convient à la perfection pour ajouter volume et
lustre élégants. Le gros tube en céramique don-
ne ampleur et souplesse alors que la brosse à
crin souple crée un lustre et une douceur d’une
beauté inégalée.

Bien des facteurs de la vie moderne comme
la climatisation, le contact avec les fibres syn-
thétiques et la pollution de l’air contribuent à la
formation d’électricité statique dans les chev-
eux. Même le brossage et le séchage avec une
serviette peuvent créer cet effet, rendant les
cuticules plus rugueuses.
Il en résulte des cheveux d’apparence mate. Et
l’électricité statique rend les cheveux « volants
» et difficiles à coiffer.
Le générateur d’ions produit un courant d’ions
négatifs qui aident à neutraliser l’électricité sta-
tique et à adoucir les cuticules pour rendre les
cheveux lustrés, souples et faciles à coiffer.
TEMPÉRATURES
L’appareil offre deux températures et un réglage
frais. Utilisez la température élevée pour le
séchage initial et la température basse une fois
les cheveux presque secs et pour la coiffure.
Utilisez le réglage frais pour créer une coiffure
durable.Glissez l’interrupteur à la première po-
sition pour le réglage frais, à la deuxième pour
la température basse et à la troisième pour la
température élevée.
ROTATION
L’appareil offre deux vitesses de rotation. Pour
faire tourner la tête de la brosse, appuyez sur
les boutons << et >>. Ils font tourner la tête
dans le sens horaire ou antihoraire. La brosse
tournera plus rapidement si l’appareil est réglé
à la température élevée. À la température basse,
la brosse tourne plus lentement.
La brosse ne tourne pas si l’appareil est au ré-
glage frais. Pour de meilleurs résultats, utilisez
la fonction rotative de la brosse afin de créer
volume et lustre élégants.
ÉTUI PROTECTEUR
Après chaque utilisation, assurez-vous toujours
de glisser l’étui protecteur sur la brosse. Vous
en protègerez ainsi les poils et les empêcherez
de s’écraser.
MODE D’EMPLOI
• Si vous avez les cheveux longs ou épais, il
sera plus simple et plus rapide d’utiliser d’abord
un sèche-cheveux afin d’éliminer l’humidité ex-
cédentaire. Pour un volume accru, séchez vos
cheveux, la tête renversée.
• Une fois les cheveux secs à 80 pour cent,
passez à l’appareil VOLUME SERIES pour créer
la coiffure que vous désirez.
VOLUME ET SOUPLESSE MAXIMAUX
1) Commencez par séparer vos cheveux.
2) Pour mettre l’appareil en marche, glissez
l’interrupteur à la position appropriée à votre
type de cheveux.
3) Placez l’appareil sur les cheveux, près de la
racine et brossez une mèche à la fois pour
bien démêler les cheveux.
4) Pour une ampleur accrue à la racine, tenez
la brosse au niveau des racines pendant
quelques secondes.
5) Passez la brosse dans les cheveux jusqu’à
la pointe et, à l’approche de la pointe,
commencez à faire tourner la brosse en
l’éloignant de la tête en appuyant sur le
bouton de rotation approprié.

Many aspects of modern living, including air
conditioning, contact with man-made fibres
and air pollution contribute to a build-up of
static electricity in the hair. Even brushing and
towel drying the hair, can increase these levels
causing the surface of the cuticle to become
rough.

Consequently, hair may have a dull appearance.
Also high levels of static charge cause hair to
become “fly-away” and difficult to style.
The ion generator produces a stream of nega-
tive ions which act to neutralise the static
charge, smoothing the scales on the cuticle
for shiny, smooth and manageable hair so you
can achieve your desired style easily.
HEAT SETTINGS
The Conair VOLUME SERIES is perfect for
adding gorgeous volume and shine to styles.
The large ceramic barrel gives fullness and
body as you style whilst the soft bristles create
ultimate shine and smoothness to hair.
ROTATION SETTINGS
There are two rotation speed settings. To
make the brush head rotate, press the buttons
marked << and >>, these will make the brush
head rotate clockwise and anticlockwise. When
the appliance is set on the high heat setting
the brush head rotation will be faster. When
the appliance is set on the low heat setting the
speed will be slower.
When the appliance is used on the cool setting,
the brush head will not rotate. For best results,
use the rotating brush feature to create styles
with gorgeous volume and shine.
PROTECTIVE COVER
After every use, always ensure the protective
shield is placed over the brush head. This
protects the bristles and stops them from col-
lapsing.
7) For even more volume, allow the brush
to rotate, winding the entire section of hair
around the barrel, release the rotate button
and the leave the brush in the hair for a
few seconds.
8) To release the section, press and hold the
opposite rotation button to un-wide the
hair section.
9) Repeat as necessary.
10) After use, switch off and unplug the
appliance.
11) Allow to cool before storing away.
12) Place protective shield over brush head to
protect the bristles.
HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS
• To dene layers and give shape to styles,
follow step 5 and repeat through section.
• To get root volume and body through the
top section of hair, follow steps 3 to 5 but
using an upward motion.
• For long lasting results, follow steps 3 to
7 but then slide the on/off switch to the cool
setting (first position on the switch) for a few
seconds, this will set the hair. Slide the switch
to the low heat setting (second position on
the switch) and proceed with step 8.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• If you have long or thick hair, you may nd
it quicker and easier to use a hairdryer first,
to rough dry your hair and remove the excess
moisture. For added volume, turn your head
upside down as you dry.
• Once the hair is 80% dry, you should start to
create your style using the VOLUME SERIES
styler.
MAXIMUM VOLUME AND BODY
1) Start by sectioning the hair.
2) To turn the appliance on, slide the on/off
switch to the correct heat setting for your
hair.
3) Place the appliance into the hair, close to
the roots and brush through the section to
remove any tangles.
4) For added root lift, hold the brush in place
at the root for a few seconds.
5) Move the brush through the hair, towards
the ends and as you reach the end of the
section, start to rotate the brush away
from your head by pressing and holding
the appropriate rotate button.
6) As you do this, resist the rotation of the
brush by pulling the brush downwards.
This will create tension through the section
of hair.
IMPORTANT! It may take several attempts to
perfect this technique, if the brush spins too
quickly, simply release the rotation button and
remove from the hair.

TRUCS ET CONSEILS PRATIQUES
• Pour dénir les couches et donner forme
aux coiffures, suivez le point 5 et répétez tout
au long de la mèche.
• Pour un volume et de la souplesse au niveau
de la racine et dans le haut de la tête, suivez les
points 3 à 5, dans un mouvement vers le haut.
• Pour une coiffure durable, suivez les points 3
à 7 mais faites glisser l’appareil au réglage frais
pour la mise en plis. Réglez ensuite l’appareil
à la température basse (deuxième position de
l’interrupteur) et passez au point 8.

Bien des facteurs de la vie moderne comme
la climatisation, le contact avec les fibres syn-
thétiques et la pollution de l’air contribuent à la
formation d’électricité statique dans les chev-
eux. Même le brossage et le séchage avec une
serviette peuvent créer cet effet, rendant les
cuticules plus rugueuses.
Il en résulte des cheveux d’apparence mate. Et
l’électricité statique rend les cheveux « volants
» et difficiles à coiffer.
Le générateur d’ions produit un courant d’ions
négatifs qui aident à neutraliser l’électricité sta-
tique et à adoucir les cuticules pour rendre les
cheveux lustrés, souples et faciles à coiffer.
TEMPÉRATURES
L’appareil offre deux températures et un réglage
frais. Utilisez la température élevée pour le
séchage initial et la température basse une fois
les cheveux presque secs et pour la coiffure.
Utilisez le réglage frais pour créer une coiffure
durable.Glissez l’interrupteur à la première po-
sition pour le réglage frais, à la deuxième pour
la température basse et à la troisième pour la
température élevée.
ROTATION
L’appareil offre deux vitesses de rotation. Pour
faire tourner la tête de la brosse, appuyez sur
les boutons << et >>. Ils font tourner la tête
dans le sens horaire ou antihoraire. La brosse
tournera plus rapidement si l’appareil est réglé
à la température élevée. À la température basse,
la brosse tourne plus lentement.
La brosse ne tourne pas si l’appareil est au ré-
glage frais. Pour de meilleurs résultats, utilisez
la fonction rotative de la brosse afin de créer
volume et lustre élégants.
ÉTUI PROTECTEUR
Après chaque utilisation, assurez-vous toujours
de glisser l’étui protecteur sur la brosse. Vous
en protègerez ainsi les poils et les empêcherez
de s’écraser.
MODE D’EMPLOI
• Si vous avez les cheveux longs ou épais, il
sera plus simple et plus rapide d’utiliser d’abord
un sèche-cheveux afin d’éliminer l’humidité ex-
cédentaire. Pour un volume accru, séchez vos
cheveux, la tête renversée.
• Une fois les cheveux secs à 80 pour cent,
passez à l’appareil VOLUME SERIES pour créer
la coiffure que vous désirez.
VOLUME ET SOUPLESSE MAXIMAUX
1) Commencez par séparer vos cheveux.
2) Pour mettre l’appareil en marche, glissez
l’interrupteur à la position appropriée à votre
type de cheveux.
3) Placez l’appareil sur les cheveux, près de la
racine et brossez une mèche à la fois pour
bien démêler les cheveux.
4) Pour une ampleur accrue à la racine, tenez
la brosse au niveau des racines pendant
quelques secondes.
5) Passez la brosse dans les cheveux jusqu’à
la pointe et, à l’approche de la pointe,
commencez à faire tourner la brosse en
l’éloignant de la tête en appuyant sur le
bouton de rotation approprié.

Also high levels of static charge cause hair to
become “fly-away” and difficult to style.

HEAT SETTINGS
The Conair VOLUME SERIES is perfect for
adding gorgeous volume and shine to styles.
The large ceramic barrel gives fullness and
body as you style whilst the soft bristles create
ultimate shine and smoothness to hair.
ROTATION SETTINGS
There are two rotation speed settings. To
make the brush head rotate, press the buttons
marked << and >>, these will make the brush
head rotate clockwise and anticlockwise. When
the appliance is set on the high heat setting
the brush head rotation will be faster. When
the appliance is set on the low heat setting the
speed will be slower.
When the appliance is used on the cool setting,
the brush head will not rotate. For best results,
use the rotating brush feature to create styles
with gorgeous volume and shine.
PROTECTIVE COVER
After every use, always ensure the protective
shield is placed over the brush head. This
protects the bristles and stops them from col-
lapsing.
7) For even more volume, allow the brush
to rotate, winding the entire section of hair
around the barrel, release the rotate button
and the leave the brush in the hair for a
few seconds.
8) To release the section, press and hold the
opposite rotation button to un-wide the
hair section.
9) Repeat as necessary.
10) After use, switch off and unplug the
appliance.
11) Allow to cool before storing away.
12) Place protective shield over brush head to
protect the bristles.
HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS
• To dene layers and give shape to styles,
follow step 5 and repeat through section.
• To get root volume and body through the
top section of hair, follow steps 3 to 5 but
using an upward motion.
• For long lasting results, follow steps 3 to
7 but then slide the on/off switch to the cool
setting (first position on the switch) for a few
seconds, this will set the hair. Slide the switch
to the low heat setting (second position on
the switch) and proceed with step 8.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• If you have long or thick hair, you may nd
it quicker and easier to use a hairdryer first,
to rough dry your hair and remove the excess
moisture. For added volume, turn your head
upside down as you dry.
• Once the hair is 80% dry, you should start to
create your style using the VOLUME SERIES
styler.
MAXIMUM VOLUME AND BODY
1) Start by sectioning the hair.
2) To turn the appliance on, slide the on/off
switch to the correct heat setting for your
hair.
3) Place the appliance into the hair, close to
the roots and brush through the section to
remove any tangles.
4) For added root lift, hold the brush in place
at the root for a few seconds.
5) Move the brush through the hair, towards
the ends and as you reach the end of the
section, start to rotate the brush away
from your head by pressing and holding
the appropriate rotate button.
6) As you do this, resist the rotation of the
brush by pulling the brush downwards.
This will create tension through the section
of hair.
IMPORTANT! It may take several attempts to
perfect this technique, if the brush spins too
quickly, simply release the rotation button and
remove from the hair.

6) Ce faisant, faites résistance à la rotation de
la brosse en tirant la brosse vers le bas.
Vous créerez ainsi une tension dans la
mèche de cheveux.
IMPORTANT! Maîtriser cette technique pourra
nécessiter quelques essais. Si la brosse tourne
trop vite, relâchez simplement le bouton de
rotation et retirez la brosse des cheveux.
7) Pour plus de volume, laissez la brosse
tourner, enroulant la mèche entière autour
du tube; relâchez le bouton puis laissez la
mèche enroulée quelques secondes.
8) Pour dégager la mèche, tenez le bouton de
rotation inverse enfoncé pour désenrouler
les cheveux.
9) Répétez au besoin.
10) Après l’usage, éteignez et débranchez
l’appareil.
11) Laissez-le refroidir avant de le ranger.
12) Glissez l’étui protecteur sur la brosse afin
d’en protéger les poils.
TRUCS ET CONSEILS PRATIQUES
• Pour dénir les couches et donner forme
aux coiffures, suivez le point 5 et répétez tout
au long de la mèche.
• Pour un volume et de la souplesse au niveau
de la racine et dans le haut de la tête, suivez les
points 3 à 5, dans un mouvement vers le haut.
• Pour une coiffure durable, suivez les points 3
à 7 mais faites glisser l’appareil au réglage frais
pour la mise en plis. Réglez ensuite l’appareil
à la température basse (deuxième position de
l’interrupteur) et passez au point 8.
