INTRODUCTION
The 278 pc Autobody Repair Terminal and Connector Kit contains every type of connector needed to install or repair
the wiring in your vehicle or trailer. The included crimper/wire cutter match the terminal and connector gauges.

to reduce the risk of personal injury and/or damage to the equipment. Before allowing someone else to use this
kit, make sure they are aware of all safety information.
1. Operate in a safe work environment. Keep your work area clean and well lit.
2. Keep anyone not wearing the appropriate safety equipment away from the work area.
3. Store the repair kit properly in a safe and dry location to prevent rust or damage.
4. The tool and components in this kit were designed for a specific function. Do not modify or alter this tool or
use it for an unintended purpose.
5. Always wear impact safety goggles that provide front and side protection for the eyes.
CAUTION! Wear protective equipment approved by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) or American National
Standards Institute (ANSI).
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
1. Turn power off and disconnect battery before replacing a terminal or connector.
2. Protect yourself against electric shocks when working on electrical equipment. Avoid body contact with
grounded surfaces.
3. When wiring an electrically driven device, follow all electrical and safety codes, as well as the
most recent
Canadian Electrical Code (CE) and
Canadian Centre for Occupational Health
and Safety
(CCOHS).
CAUTION! All wiring should be performed by a qualified
electrician.
OPERATION
1. Remove old terminals/connectors with the wire cutter.
2. Match the conductor size to the correct INS opening in the wire stripper and remove the insulation to
expose the wire.
3. Cut the exposed wire to the appropriate length with the wire cutter.
a. Use the holes around the pivot bolt to cut larger wires.
4. Insert the exposed wire into the terminal or connector.
5. Place the terminal or connector into the appropriate crimping slot and squeeze the handles
to crimp.
