1.0 INTRODUCTION
This owner’s manual will enable you to
fully understand all of your systems
functions and features. You will find that
operating the system is as simple as
pressing a button on your transmitter.
Please Note: This manual provides
instructions for operating the remote
central locking, alarm and engine
immobilisation. Keyless Entry function is
only available on models fitted with
power door locks as original equipment,
ie: 5 door models only. Immobilisation
detail applies to all models. Alarm
upgrade kits are available at extra cost.
The system is controlled by a
microprocessor, which constantly
monitors the doors, bonnet, tailgate and
ignition.
An audible alarm and visual warning is
given (if programmed ON) when a door
is opened or ignition is turned on, once
the vehicle is locked using the
transmitter.
Should a problem be detected when the
doors are locked using the remote
transmitter (such as a door remaining
open or ajar), the system will inform you
by flashing the indicators five times and
the alarm will inform you via a series of
audible error chirps.
These features are fully described in the
operating instructions: Section 3.0
Alarm Base where the horn will sound
or in the case when an alarm upgrade
is fitted the siren will emit a series of
chirps.
Should you have any questions or are
still unsure of some features, please
see your SUZUKI dealer, who will be
happy to assist.

3.0 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remote Locking / Arming Alarm
Press the black button on the transmitter
and the following will happen:
Vehicles fitted with factory central
door locking. All doors will lock,
including the tailgate.
The horn will emit one chirp (if
chirps are selected “ON). The
vehicle’s indicators will flash once
and the dash mounted L.E.D. will
light up.
The LED will flash once every two
seconds after five seconds.
The engine is immobilised.
Note: Should the indicators flash and
the horn emit five chirps after Locking,
check that all doors (including tailgate)
are properly closed.
2. Remote Unlocking / Disarming
Alarm
Press the black button on the transmitter
and the following will happen:
Vehicles fitted with factory central
door locking. All doors will unlock,
including the tailgate.
The horn will emit three chirps (if
chirps are selected “ON”) and the
vehicles indicators will flash three
times.
The dash mounted L.E.D. will turn
“OFF”.
The engine is de-immobilised.
Note: The doors will automatically
relock 35 seconds after the doors were
unlocked if no doors or tailgate were
opened.
3. LED FUNCTIONS
The LED has several functions which
are explained as follows:
Engine is immobilised, this is
indicated by two flashes every 2
seconds.
Engine is immobilised and the
system was armed with the
transmitter, this is indicated by
one flash every 2 seconds.
Alarm triggered reporting, if alarm
programmed ON, this is indicated
by a continuous flash from the
LED after disarming the system
using the transmitter (Refer to
Diagnostic Tables section 4)
Low battery in transmitter, this is
indicated by the LED flashing
twenty times when the ignition is
turned ON after disarming.
NOTE: If this warning is received
regularly the battery in the
transmitter must be replaced as
soon as possible. If the battery is
allowed to run too low, this will
cause the transponder function to
fail, causing the engine to remain
immobilised.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Page 4
4.0 Auto Arming
To ensure maximum protection against
theft of the vehicle, the system has been
designed to automatically immobilise the
engine 35 seconds after turning the
ignition switch from the “ON” position to
the “ACC” or “OFF” position.
Once the system has auto armed the
L.E.D. will flash twice every two seconds,
with the key removed from the ignition
switch.
5.0 Disarming Auto-Arming
(IMMOBILISER)
There are several options available to
disarm the auto arm so that the engine
can be started.
Momentarily press the black
button on the transmitter until
three indicator flashers are
received.
Within 35 seconds of receiving
the three indicator flashers, turn
the ignition ON. The vehicle can
now be started.
Insert the key into the ignition
switch, this will activate the
transponder, enabling the system
to automatically detect the
transmitter on the key ring. (See
also Transmitter section 6)
NOTE: If the immobiliser fails to
receive a coded signal from the
transmitter four seconds from
inserting the key into the ignition
switch, the indicators will flash five
times and the horn will chirp five
times. If this happens press the
black button on the transmitter.
Perform the “Manual
Override” procedure.
6.0 Manual Override
In the event that the alarm is armed
or the immobilisation is active and
the transmitter is lost or becomes
inoperative the following procedure
will enable you to manually disarm
the alarm and immobilisation:
Note: During the procedure the horn
will sound (only if alarm is
programmed ON) Ignore this and
continue with the procedure.
Unlock the driver’s door using
the ignition key.
Using the ignition key turn the
ignition switch to the “ON” position.
Note: When the ignition is turned on
the system will emit five chirps and
the indicators flash five times.
The L.E.D. will turn on then turn off/on every
five seconds. This indicates that the
system has now entered 30 minute
override mode. At the end of the 30
minutes the horn will chirp five times and
the indicators will flash five times to
indicate the system has disarmed.
Note: Turning the ignition switch from the
“ON” to “ACC” or “OFF” position and
allowing 35 seconds to elapse will
require this procedure to be performed
again.
7.0 Key Monitor Function
The immobiliser system will
automatically activate the transponder
function whenever the key is inserted into
the ignition switch. Once the transponder
is activated the transmitter on the key ring
will transmit a coded signal to the
immobiliser, if the correct signal is
received by the immobiliser the following
will happen:
Disarm the alarm if armed.
Disarm the Auto Arming feature
enabling the engine to be started.
Note: The L.E.D. will automatically stop
flashing whenever key is inserted into the
ignition switch. This feature has been
incorporated to prevent annoying flashing
from the LED whilst sitting in the vehicle.
DIAGNOSTIC TABLE Page 5
4.0 Diagnostic Table

TRANSPONDER FEATURE
When the key is inserted into the
ignition switch, the system will
electronically ask the transmitter on
your key ring for identification, before
allowing the vehicle to be started.
If the transmitter is not on the key ring
with the ignition key, the engine will
remain immobilised.
IMPORTANT ! Never place more than
one transmitter onto the same key ring
or within 20cm from each other as this
may cause both transmitters to send
their I.D. codes at the same time, this
will cause code confusion which will
prevent the vehicle from starting
(Ref Fig 2 & 3).

TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE Page 8
7.0 PROGRAMMING TRANSMITTERS
When entering the transmitter
programming mode, all transmitters
(maximum of three) required to operate
the system must be programmed at the
same time.
The unit has been designed this way for
the security of the user, so that should a
transmitter be lost, it will be erased from
memory when programming a new
transmitter and/or reprogramming the
remaining transmitters.
With at least one functional transmitter
Ensure a door is open.
Remove key from ignition.
Momentarily press the black button
on the transmitter until three
indicator flashes are received. This
indicates the system has disarmed.
Within 20 seconds of unlocking, insert
key in ignition, turn the ignition key from
the “ACC” position to the "ON" position
20 times, leaving the key in the “OFF”
position after the twentieth turn

times to indicate successful entry.
On the twentieth flash of the
indicators, press the button once on
each transmitter.
Once finished, turn the ignition key
to the "ON" position to lock in and
exit from the programming mode.
If you have no functional transmitters
Ensure vehicle audio PIN number
is known or audio PIN security
system is deactivated prior to
battery disconnection.
Ensure the LED is flashing.
Ensure a door is open.
Disconnect the negative battery
cable, wait a minimum of 5
seconds then reconnect.
Perform the “Manual Override”
procedure that follows:
Note: During this procedure the horn will
sound (only if alarm is programmed ON)
ignore this and continue the procedure.
Using the ignition key, turn the
ignition switch to the “ON” position.
Note: When the ignition is turned ON the
system will emit five chirps and the
indicators flash five times.
The LED will turn on, then turn off/on
every five seconds. This indicates
that the system has now entered the
30 minute override mode. At the end
of the 30 minutes the horn will chirp
three times and the indicators will
flash three times to indicate the
system has disarmed.
Within 20 seconds of the system
disarming, turn the key in ignition
from the “ACC” position to the “ON”
position 20 times, leaving the key in
the “OFF” position after the twentieth
turn.
The vehicle’s indicators will flash 20
times to indicate successful entry.
On the twentieth flash of the
indicators, press the black button
once on each transmitter.
Turn the ignition key to the “ON”
position to lock in and exit from the
programming mode.
If unsuccessful, repeat the above steps.
BATTERY BACK UP SIREN Page 9
8.0 BATTERY BACKUP SIREN
Alarm – Upgrade
The siren contains a rechargeable
battery pack, high security key switch
and a unique low volume chirps circuitry.
The battery pack will sound the siren
whenever the vehicle’s battery is
disconnected, ensure the siren is turned
off whenever the vehicle is being
serviced.
The batteries are charged whilst the
vehicle’s ignition is turned “ON” and are
always ready to sound the siren should
tampering or disconnection of the main
battery occur.
It is recommended that the siren is
turned “OFF” when the vehicle is to be
serviced.
Turning the siren “OFF’ serves two
purposes. Firstly, the system will no
longer function as an alarm, although
keyless entry is maintained. Secondly, it
will prevent the siren from sounding
should the vehicle’s battery be
disconnected during service.
The key switch is designed to maintain
a high level of security making it difficult
to copy. Should another key be required
please see a specialised locksmith to
have a key cut.
The low volume chirps circuitry has
been incorporated to avoid noise
disturbance during the normal arming
and disarming cycle.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE SIREN - CLOSING REMARKS Page 10
9.0 CARE & MAINTENANCE OF THE SIREN
1. Battery backup test procedure:
It is recommended that the condition of the
