This Outdoor Rock Speaker can be used to decorate your patio, backyard or
garden. It needs to be wired correctly to your Stereo equipment or CD player.
Follow the instructions below using caution when dealing with the electri-
cal wiring.
Assembly
1. The stereo or CD player should be placed in an indoor enclosure so it is
protected from the elements. The cable for the Outdoor Rock Speaker will
have to fit in a drilled opening through a wall surface. The wall must be
inspected before a hole is drilled through it to ensure that there are no hidden
wires, cables, pipes, or other obstructions in the way. If these assembly
requirements are beyond your expertise, a qualified service technician should
do this work. At the spot where the cable fits through the wall, a grommet
(not included) should be installed and the area should be sealed with a
silicone sealant (not included).
Positioning the Stereo or CD Player (both not included) that is to be used
with the Outdoor Rock Speaker. Note: Make sure the Stereo or CD player is
compatible with 8 ohms speaker connection.
Preparing the Speakers:
1. After the Cable (3) has been placed properly through the wall, choose a dry
area for the Outdoor Rock Speaker (1). Make sure the Speaker is not in an
area that gets watered by sprinklers. Reel out the attached Cable (3),
camouflaging it with garden greenery.
Connecting the Speakers:
1. Connect the Positive (Red Wire) and Negative (Black Wire) wires to the
stereo as outlined in the owner's manual for the stereo equipment. Again, if
you are not experienced doing this type of wiring, a qualified technician
should do the work.
