INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Measure the length of your patio perimeter (or perimeter of the area to be misted). Proper
installation of your new AR Pro 20’ Misting Kit requires mounting the 24” Stainless Steel Tubing
on the bottom outside edge of the fascia, header or beam of patio perimeter. It is important to
mount the line along the bottom edge, to prevent mist from spraying on structure. This installation
will create a curtain of mist around your patio or misted area and provide maximum cooling.
2. Start the installation by connecting the 3/8” Male Straight Fitting** to your Misting Pump’s*
outlet then connect the 50’ Flexible Nylon Tubing** to the 3/8” Male Straight Fitting**. Secure
the 50’ Flexible Nylon Tubing** to a vertical base using the Vinyl Clamps**.

3. After securing your
AR-Pro 50’
Connection Kit to your vertical base, use Push Lock Elbow to
connect 50’ Flexible Nylon Tubing** to your 24” Stainless Steel Tubing. Secure 24” Stainless
Steel Tubing to the bottom outside edge of fascia, header or beam with Nylon Clamps. If
necessary, cut the nylon tubing with a tubing cutter. Never use a saw on the tubing, this will
leave burs and prevent the compression joints from sliding over the tubing. Do NOT cut the 24”
Stainless Steel Tubing.
4. Space Nylon Clamps on 24” Stainless Steel Tubing apart. Use Push Lock Nozzle Adapters to
join sections of 24” Stainless Steel Tubing. Terminate system with Push Lock Plug.
5. Install a Push Lock Nozzle Adapter and Auto Drain Nozzle into an early section of your AR-Pro
50’ Connection Kit. This will allow the system to drain properly.
6. Secure the 24” Stainless Steel Tubing with the Nylon Clamps.
7. Flush the system for several minutes before inserting .012” NPB SS Nozzles.
8. While the system is  ushing, start inserting the .012” NPB SS Nozzles nearest to the pump  rst and
working your way towards the Push Lock Nozzle Adapter with the Push Lock Plug.
9. Shut water o to insert last .012” NPB SS Nozzle.
Caution: Hand tighten only. Never use pliers to tighten .012” NPB SS Nozzles.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
When turning the misting system o , it is bene cial to drain the water out of the line by
disconnecting the garden hose at the  lter. This will help eliminate mineral buildup.
.012” NPB SS Nozzles require cleaning or replacement periodically. Clean .012” NPB SS Nozzles
by soaking in vinegar or calcium removal product overnight. NOTE: Remove O-Rings and rubber
poppet prior to cleaning. Vinegar will degrade the rubber material.
Winterize your misting system by removing all .012” NPB SS Nozzles. Be sure all water is drained
from misting lines. This will prevent water from freezing and damaging the mist line.
NOZZLE CLEANING
1. Disassemble the .012” NPB SS Nozzles as illustrated.
2. After disassembling the .012” NPB SS Nozzles, use a cleaner (to help breakup hard water/calcium
build up) or ultrasonic cleaning machine to clean the metal parts so as to remove water stains and
calcium accumulations over time.
3. After the metal parts are cleaned and dried fully, reassemble in the reverse order it was taken apart.
4. Make sure the Metal Insert, Spring, and Rubber Poppet are dust and  ber free before the
assembly process.
