InFrance,itmustbeinstalledbeyondprotectionvolume2:
-3.5metersfromabodyofwater.
-2.4metersfromabath,sinkoranyotherwatersource.
Nevertheless,ifa30mAdifferentialcircuitbreakerismountedattheheadofthedehumidier'sdedicatedpowerline
(tobeinstalledbyaqualiedelectrician),itmaybeplacedinprotectionvolume2:
-2metersfromabodyofwater.
-0.6metersfromabath,sinkoranyotherwatersource.
Thedehumidiermustbepluggedintoanearthedoutlet.
Beforepluggingthedevicein,checkthefollowing:
• Thevoltagecorrespondstothatindicatedontheinformationplate.
• Thattheelectricalnetworkcansupporttheoperationofthedehumidier(callinaqualiedelectricianifnecessary).
• Thattheplugonthepowercableiscompatiblewiththeoutlet.
Incaseofdoubt,havetheinstallationexamined,andifnecessarymodified,byaqualifiedelectrician.The
manufacturerwillnotbeheldliableintheeventoffailuretorespectthesesafetymeasures.
Important:Neverallowcurrentcarryingpartstocomeintocontactwithwater:dangerofashortcircuit!
•Thedehumidierissafe.However,aswithotherelectricalappliance,itshouldbeoperatedwithcare.
•Donotallowchildrentoplaywithoraroundthedevice.
•Donotcleanthedehumidierbysprayingitorusingsolvents.
•Donotinsertanyobjectintothedehumidiergratings.
•Disconnectfromthemainsbeforecleaningtheunitoranyofitscomponents.
•Neverconnectthedevicetoanelectricaloutletusinganextensioncord.Ifanoutletisnotavailable,oneshouldbe

•WARNING: Interventions, other than regular maintenance, cleaning or replacement of the fi lter, should be carried

YourCLIMEXELdehumidiercontrolstheRelativeHumiditybydrawingairinandoverthecoolingelements,upon
contactwiththecold,excessmoistureintheaircondensesoutandtricklesdown.
Thiscondensatewaterischannelledintoaxeddrain.
Thedriedairthenpassesthroughanalheatexchangerwhereitiswarmedbeforebeingreturnedtothetreatedarea
ataslightlyelevatedtemperature.
Thedehumidicationlevelisselectedusingthecontrolpanelbuttons.

Ensure that there is a gap of at least 30 cm between the front and top of the machine and the nearest object.
TheCLIMEXEL850E950Edehumidiermaybeinstalledinanyclosedspaceinwhichtherelativehumidityistoohigh,
forexampleacellar,playroom,workshop,archiveoraroomcontainingasmallpooloraspa.
Thedehumidierwillbegintoprotectyourhomeagainsttheharmfuleffectsofexcessmoistureassoonasitis
pluggedinandswitchedon.
Make sure that the CLIMEXEL dehumidifi er is installed level and vertical.
Iftheunitisinstalledinapoolroom,connectittothemainsviaatransformerorabreakswitchinaccordancewith
local regulations governing electrical installations.
Donotopendoorsorwindowsunlessabsolutelynecessarywhilethedehumidierisrunning.
Wall mounting
Theunitmaybeplacedontheoorormountedonthewall.
Make sure that all four feet are touching the ground.
Wall mounting:
• Fixthesupportbracket(1)tothewallusingatleast5screws(2)andbushings(3)(theseareenclosedwiththe
device).Usingabubblelevel,checkthatthebracketishorizontal.
• Hangtheunitonthebracket.
• Usetherubberpads(alsoenclosed)tominimisenoiseandvibrations.Theseshouldbemountedonthebackofthe
device in the bottom corners (5) and on the support bracket (4).

Whenremountingtherearpanelcareshouldbetakentoreturnallthescrewsandwasherstotheiroriginallocations.
Connecting the permanent waste outlet
• Useatubewiththecorrectdiameter.
• Pushtheotherendofthetubeintoadrain,makingsurethatthetubingisnottwistedorfolded.
• Ensurethattheoutletofthedrainagetubeisnotunderwater.
CAUTION:Inverycoldweatherconditionsprecautionsshouldbetakentopreventthedrainagepipefromfreezing.
