INTRODUCTION:
Congratulations for selecting the BF-390E by BLADEZ FITNESS as your
primary source of fitness equipment. BLADEZ ellipticals offer many
exercise programs that benefit users of all levels and ages. The BF-390E is
designed to make your workouts more effective and enjoyable.
Please read this manual carefully before using your BF-390E elliptical. This
will allow you to gain a full understanding of all the features the BLADEZ
elliptical provides. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact

SECTION 1
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using the elliptical.
Notice: Before using this or any other exercise equipment, consult your family physician
or health care professional to develop a well-planned exercise program to fit your health
needs. If you encounter any pain or breathing discomfort while working out, STOP!, and
consult a physician before continuing
WARNING!
1. It is always wise to unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after
use.
2. Keep Children away from machine while in use.
3. Do not wear loose or dangling clothing while using the elliptical.
4. Maximum user weight of this elliptical is 255 lbs.
5. Keep a minimum clearance of 18” on each side and 24” at the rear of the elliptical for
safety.
6. It is mandatory that you unplug the elliptical prior to cleaning to reduce the risk of
electric shock, serious burns, and the risk of injuries.
7. The elliptical should never be left unattended when in operation. Unplug the elliptical
from the outlet when not in use or when servicing the elliptical.
8. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by or near children,
invalids, or disabled persons.
9. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
Do not use any attachment not recommended by the manufacturer.
10. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working
properly. Call your service center for any service concerns before taking your elliptical
in for repair.
11. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
12. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
13. Do not use outdoors.
14. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is
being administered.
15. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from outlet.
16. This appliance is intended for household use only.

POWER SUPPLY
Your BF-390E Elliptical uses a two-prong external power supply for use on a nominal
110-120-volt circuit. Use only the power supply provided with your BF-390E Elliptical. If
you misplace this power supply, please contact Bladez for an original replacement. Use
of the wrong power supply may cause damage to your BF-390E Elliptical. No adapter or
extension cord should be used with this product.
CLEANING
Clean with soap and slightly damp cloth only; never use solvents.

1. Attach Rear Stabilizer (64) to the Base of Frame (14) with Bolts (110), Spring
Washers (111) and Arc Washers (112). Attach the Front Stabilizer equipped with
Moving Wheels (65) at the front of the Base with Bolts (110), Spring Washers (111)
and Arc Washers (112).
2.
To assemble the Upright, insert Upper Front Cover (58) into Upright (10) and
connect Control Wire (U) (13) with Control Wire (L) (24). Then insert Upright (10) into
Frame (14) and secure with Bolts (113), Spring Washers (114) and Arc Washers
(115).

To assemble the Pedals, attach Pedal Assembly (94, 95) to the axis of Rotary Plate
with Allen Bolt (117), Spring Washer (71) and Washer (118) and then attach End Cap
(103). Connect Pedal Assembly (94, 95) with Rocker (L) and secure with Allen Bolt
(116) and Nylon Nut (92). Secure Cover (L) (104) and Cover (R) (105) with Self
Tapping Screw (123) and Screw (63).
4. To attach the Pedal, put Pedal (102) on Pedal Assembly (94) and secure with Bolts
(124) according to above picture.

5. To attach Computer Shelf, insert Necklace Bracket (108) onto Upright (10) and
thread Control Wire (13) out from Computer Shelf (1). Insert Computer Shelf (1) into
Upright (10) and secure with Bolts(113), Spring Washers (114) and Arc Washers (115).
6. To attach Computer, unscrew four screws at the back of the computer and connect
Control Wire (13) with wire of Computer (101). Put Computer on Computer Shelf (1)
and secure with Screw (127). Adjust Necklace Bracket (108) and secure with Screw
(125). Insert Hand Pulse Wire (6) into jack on the back of the Computer (101).

To attach Handrails, insert Handrails (98A, 98B) into Rockers and fix with Bolts
(119).

To attach Bottle Holder, unscrew Screws (11) from Upright (10) with Allen Wrench
(120) and attach Bottle Holder to Upright (10) with Screws (11
). Then insert Bottle
into holder. Connect AC Adapter to power jack. (Note: Verify AC Adapter voltage is
correct before connecting). Assembly is complete.

OPERATION
Console
The display screen of the Computer is a single LCD which is divided into
several sections. It has AUTO SLEEP function and can display
RPM/SPEED, TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES/WATT and PULSE (HEART
RATE).

Explanation of Keys
RECOVERY PULSE: Press to test pulse recovery and health index. At
the end of your exercise, press this key and
grasp the pulse rate sensors. TIME counts down
from 1:00 minute. After one minute the main area
displays F1~F6 as shown in drawing 1 below.

“-“ Key: Press to decrease setting. Hold for 3 seconds to
continuously decrease setting.
“+” Key: Press to increase setting. Hold for 3 seconds to
continuously increase setting.
MODE: Setup key. Press this key to set PROGRAM, TIME
and DISTANCE etc. Use
“-“ and “+” to set
parameters. This key is also used to reset the unit.
Press and hold for 3 seconds to reset all values to
default settings.

START/STOP: Press to start and pause display updating. When
the computer is turned on, press this key when you
begin pedaling and the values will begin to update.

OPERATION CONTINUED
At this time you can press “-”and “+” to
adjust the LEVEL of resistance. If you stop pedaling,
press this key to stop the display from updating.
When you start pedaling again, press this key and
the display will begin updating from where it left off.
Windows
TIME: Displays time used. Users can preset exercise time and the
computer will beep when this time is reached.
RPM/SPEED: Displays real-time speed and pedal RPM speed. During
exercise, it will switch between RPM and SPEED to display
pedal RPM speed and real time speed.
DISTANCE: Displays distance. Users can preset distance and the
computer will beep when this distance is reached.
CAL/WATT: Display real-time CALORIE and WATT. During exercise, it
will switch between CAL and WATT to display CALORIE and
WATT.
PULSE: Displays pulse value, in beats per minute. When the user
grasps the pulse grip sensors, the heart symbol will blink and
display the heart rate. If the pulse is not input, the heart
symbol will not appear and the letter P will be displayed in
the pulse window. Users can preset the pulse value and the
computer will beep when this value is reached.

Three States of Operation
POWER ON State: After power up, the unit will beep, and all segments of
the LCD will be displayed for 2 seconds as shown in drawing 2. It will then
enter the exercise setup mode.

SLEEP State: If no signal is input for 3 minutes, it will enter the sleep state
automatically and the LCD shuts off.
WAKE UP State: When the computer is in SLEEP State, press any key to
wake up and enter setup mode. Press START/STOP key to begin
exercising.
12 Exercise Programs
Under SETUP MODE, users can select from 12 different exercise
programs. Users can press
“-” and “+” to select.

WARRANTY
USA / CANADA Warranty
Warranties may vary in other countries. See your local Bladez Dealer.
BLADEZ FITNESS extends the following exclusive, limited warranty of the BF-390E
elliptical, which shall apply only to the use of the device in the home, for residential,
non-commercial purposes only. Any other use of the device shall void this warranty.
FRAME – 1 Year
Bladez Fitness warrants the Frame against defects in workmanship and materials for
one year, as long as it remains in the possession of the original owner.
ELECTRONICS & PARTS – 1 Year
Bladez Fitness warrants the Electronic components and all original parts against defects
in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of original
purchase, as long as the device remains in the possession of the original owner.
LABOR – 90 Days
Bladez Fitness shall cover the labor cost for the repair of the device for a period of
ninety days from the date of original purchase, as long as the device remains in the
possession of the original owner.
EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
The exclusive remedy for any of the above warranties shall be repair or replacement of
defective parts, or the supply of labor to cure any defect, provided that labor shall be
limited to ninety days. All labor shall be supplied by the local retailer and the product
must be located within the retailer’s service area. Products located outside the retailer’s
service area will not be covered by the labor warranty.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
This warranty applies only to the original owner and is not transferable. This warranty is
expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective Frame, Electronic
component, or defective part and is the sole remedy of the warranty. The warranty does
not cover normal wear and tear.
BLADEZ FITNESS expressly disclaims all other warranties, express or implied,
including but not limited to all warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or of
merchantability. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and your rights may vary
from state to state.
WARRANTY REGISTRATION
Your warranty card must be completed and sent to BLADEZ FITNESS before a
warranty claim can be processed.
