tightened.

•Neveruseadefectivewalkingaid.Donotattempt

repairsyourself!

•Ifhandgripsareloosedonotusethewalking

aid.Changehandgripsaccordingtotheservice

instructionswhichcanbeobtainedfromyourInvacare

representative.

•Verifybrakeoperation.Ifbrakeadjustmentisrequired,

seechapter3Usage,page8

•Periodicallyinspectthecastorstightness,wearand

damage.

•Makesurethatthewheelsarefreeofhair,lintand

otherdebris.

4.2Cleaning

Theproductcanbecleanedanddisinfectedusing

commerciallyavailabledetergents.

–Neveruseacids,alkaliesorsolvents.

•Theproductcanbewashedinawashingmachineor

•Thewashinganddryingtemperaturemaynotbehigher

than60ºC.

•High-pressurecleanerorordinaryjetofwatermaybe

used.However,donotaimthejettowardsbearings,

drainingholesorlabels.

•Cleanwithdampclothandmilddetergents.

•Cleanthewheelswithabrush(nowirebrush!).

•Afterwashing,wipetheproductdry.
