Press the button for at least three seconds
in order to activate / deactivate the button
lock. If another symbol is pressed while
the button lock is activated, a warning will
sound.
B. Temperature.
Temperature display.
C. Fast Cool.
Appliances without a freezer compartment
switch to Fast Cool mode when this button
is pressed once. This function turns itself off
automatically after approx. 6 hours.
C. Fast Freezing. Appliances with a freezer
compartment
switch to Fast Freezing
mode when this button is pressed once.
This function must be activated at least
3 hours before putting fresh frozen food into
the freezer; it turns itself off automatically
after 26 hours.
C. Holiday mode.
Press the button for at least 5 seconds in
order to activate the Holiday Mode.
D. Holiday mode.
Shows whether the “Holiday” function has
been activated or not. (See the relevant
section).
E. On/Stand-by.
Press the button for at least 3 seconds in
order to activate the standby mode. To
switch the appliance back on, press the
symbol once.
F. Open door.
Open door alert.
G. Temperature.
Button for setting the temperature.
H. Stop alarm.
Press if an alarm has been set off.

Setting the internal refrigerator temperature
When delivered, the refrigerator is usually set to the recommended operating temperature of 5°C.
However, the internal temperature can be set to between 3°C and 7°C as follows:
• PressthebuttonG which controls the internal temperature. Every time the button is pressed,
the storage temperature changes by 1°C: The display flashes cyclically between 3°C and 7°C.
• Thetemperatureinthefreezercompartment (between –18/–24°C) cannot be adjusted
because it is automatically adjusted by the electronic control.
Fan with button (if applicable)
The fan ensures uniform temperature distribution in the refrigerator compartment so foodstuffs are
kept in optimal storage conditions. Press the appropriate button to turn on the fan (10a).
Note: Do not place foodstuffs in front of the fan grill (10b).
When the fan is switched off, energy consumption is reduced.
