Before using your Instant Dutch Oven, please read all instructions,

including the Safety Information below. Keep this manual for reference.

The cooking pot is extremely hot during use and can be extremely

heavy when full of ingredients.

• DO NOT touch the cooking pot’s hot surfaces, including the handles.

Use oven mitts or other protection when carrying or moving.

• DO use care when carrying the cooking pot from the stovetop to

avoid burn and/or personal injury.

• DO use extreme caution when the cooking pot contains hot food,

hot oil or other hot liquids.

• DO NOT use this cooking pot for deep frying with oil.

• DO use extreme caution when disposing of hot grease.

• DO NOT allow children or by persons with reduced physical, sensory

or mental capabilities to operate this cooking pot. Close supervision

is necessary when any cooking pot is used near children and these

individuals. Children should not play with this cooking pot.

• DO NOT use the cooking pot for anything other than household use.

It is not intended for commercial use.

• DO let the cooking pot cool to room temperature before cleaning

or storage.

• DO NOT exceed 536 °F (280 °C) when heating.

FIRST USE

Wash the cooking pot with hot water and soap. Rinse and use a soft

cloth to dry the outside.

CLEANING

Clean your Instant Dutch Oven after each use. Always allow the cooking

pot and lid to cool to room temperature before cleaning. Before use or

storing, make sure all surfaces are dry.

Part Cleaning instructions

Cooking

pot • To preserve the enamel coating for longer life, we recommend hand washing

with mild soap.

• Wash after each use.

• If there is tough or burned food residue at the bottom, soak in hot water for

a few hours for easy cleaning.

• Hard water staining may require a vinegar-dampened sponge and some

scrubbing to remove.

Lid • To preserve the enamel coating, we recommend hand washing with mild soap.
