Growing Guide Mondo Grass

Mondo grass care is very easy but you do need to choose the right

spot, and prepare the bed for best results. Lighter colored mondo grass

need more sun whereas darker colored mondo grass needs more

shade. Either location works well provided soil is well draining and free

of invasive weeds. After the plant grows you can divide the clumps into

multiple plants for planting in more than one spot, each group with

several heads and plant 4 to 12 inches apart depending on how quickly

you want the area to fill in. Dwarf mondo should be planted closer

together 2 to 4 inches apart. Cover roots and heads with loose soil but

avoid covering the crown of the plant. Keep soil moderately moist

during establishment. Drought resistant once established.
