possible causes and solutions
Make sure that the ADSL cable is well connected to the phone
jack and the grey connection of the router.
Make sure it is not an internal problem within your home by
connecting the router directly to the to the NTU (Network
Termination Unit).
If after 2-3 minutes the light indicator turns green
permanently, that means that you now have a line
and the problem is within the internal cabling in your
home.
It is possible that your phone line has still not been transferred from
your previous supplier. Remember that in some cases the Orange line
activation may take a week longer than the ADSL/home broadband
activation. You will receive a text message conrming this.
In the meantime, you can connect your phone
directly to the NTU (Network Termination Unit) of
your previous supplier in order to have a phone line
available until your line is transferred.
