DESCRIPTION
The amplified speaker V3.12A and V3.12A Dlx is ideal for the high quality
systems in churches and auditoriums. Compact and lightweight, this amplified
speaker is equipped with a 12" woofer, an 8" Mid Range and a Tweeter, two
digital power amplifiers (class D) and state of the art electro-acoustic
components. All this will ensure an incredible sound quality, high SPL and an
excellent and linear reproduction.
It was specifically developed to be used together with classic organs, especially
the Viscount series. The speaker is equipped with a professional semi-
parametric equalizer, and it can be activated remotely. Furthermore, it is
equipped with an innovative energy saving device.
The speaker is available with oak wood finish (V3.12A Dlx) or melamine
(V3.12A), light and stout wods, reliable even under the most critical conditions.

CONNECTION AND CONTROL PANEL
The connection and control panel can be found on the rear side of the cabinet;
the following picture shows the panel:
1. [INPUT] connector: balanced jack connector. Plug here the cable from
the line output of the organ you wish to amplify.
2. [LINK] connector: balanced jack connector. Through this connector, the
signal incoming from the [INPUT] connector can be sent to a different
speaker. This is useful to create a diffusor chain.
3. [STBY MODE] button: this button activates and deactivates the
loudspeaker Stand-By mode. When the button is pressed, the mode is
active and speaker shuts down automatically after 30 minutes without
signal from the [INPUT] connector (see point 1). As soon as the signal is
received, the speaker turns on automatically.

Pressing the button again it remains up and the Stand-By mode is disabled.
This means that the speaker is always on, even without incoming signal. To
turn the speaker off, you have to use the [LOCAL] switch (see point 9).
The Led on the side of this button, when green informs you that
loudspeaker is switched on, while red it is switched-off in Stand-By mode.
4. [LOW] potentiometer: potentiometer of the semi-parametric equalizer.
The potentiometer controls the dampening (0 to -12 dB as printed) or the
amplification (0 to +12 dB) of low frequencies (below 400 Hz).
5. [MID FREQ] potentiometer: potentiometer of the semi-parametric
equalizer. Use to adjust the frequency range, which is dampened or
amplified by the [MID GAIN] potentiometer. The frequency range that can
be selected is between 400 Hz and 4 kHz.
6. [MID GAIN] potentiometer: potentiometer of the semi-parametric
equalizer. Controls the dampening (0 to -12 dB) or amplification (0 to +12
dB) of signal within the frequency selected by the [MID FREQ]
potentiometer.
7. [HIGH] potentiometer: potentiometer of the semi-parametric equalizer.
Controls the dampening (0 to -12) or amplification (0 to +12) of high
frequencies (above 4 KHz).
8. [VOLUME] potentiometer: adjust the output volume. When the knob is
on “-
“ the signal is completely nullified.
9. [LOCAL] switch: select the power mode of the speaker.
When set as "LOCAL", the speaker is on; if stand-by mode is active, it
works as described above.
When set as "OFF", the speaker is off.
When set as "REMOTE CONTROL 12V", the organ (or any device
connected through the [IN] connector) turns on and off the speaker.
NB:
When using more than one V3.12A or V3.12A Dlx linked in a chain (via
[IN] and [OUT] connectors), each speaker will turn on approximately
one second later than the previous one.
10. [IN] connector: mini-jack connector. Insert here the cable from the organ
or other device (also, another V3.12A or V3.12A Dlx) to switch on and off
the speaker remotely. The most advanced Viscount organs, for example, are
equipped with a knob controlling the external amplification. When
connected to the [IN] connector of the speaker, these knobs can switch on
and off the speaker remotely.
User Manual viscount V3.12A – V3.12A Dlx
EN - 6
This remote control can be used also with other organs or devices (also
another V3.12A or V3.12A Dlx): The control signal must have a level of
+12 V DC and a current of 300 mA.
11. [OUT] connector: mini-jack connector; link to the [IN] port of another
V3.12A or V3.12A Dlx to switch on and off a diffusor chain with an organ.
NB:
When using more than one V3.12A or V3.12A Dlx linked in a chain (via
[IN] and [OUT] connectors), each speaker will turn on approximately
one second later than the previous one.
12. [MAIN] connector: power plug, connect to the power socket.
