Maintain appliances with care. Keep blade sharp and clean. Properly maintained
appliances with a sharp cutting edge are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
Do not use a damaged appliance.
Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any
other condition that may affect the appliance’s operation. Many accidents are
caused by poorly maintained appliances.
Maintain labels and nameplates on the appliance. These carry important infor-
mation. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Appliances for a replace-
ment.
UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure that the item is intact and undamaged. If any
parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Appliances at the number shown
on the cover of this manual as soon as possible.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Press Handle (1) onto Crankshaft (8). Apple Peeler is ready for use.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Clean each part with soap and water before using. Dry thoroughly.
Caution: Blade and Spikes are extremely sharp. Be careful when working near them.
Place Apple Peeler on a clean and level surface and rotate Handle until the Blade is
at the bottom position of it’s arc.
Push apple down on Spikes (7) and remove Blade Cover (5).
Turn handle (1) clockwise. Blade will cut peel away from apple, from bottom to top,
without further adjustment.
When apple is peeled, carefully remove from spikes.
Clean Blade and carefully replace Blade Cover.
Changing Blades
Put Blade Cover on Blade. Hook finger through loop at top of Blade and pull until
the Blade and Blade Cover release. Be wary of the Spikes.
Remove Blade Cover and safely dispose of old Blade. Put Cover on new Blade.
Slide Blade and Cover back onto peeler arm with Blade pointed downwards.
Cleaning
Apple Peeler is NOT dishwasher safe. Clean only by hand with a soft cloth and mild
detergent.
