POOL TECHNOLOGY
The PP60 pH automatically control pH in the pool water. Measuring is done by pH probe. The setup pH-
value is displayed on a red LED-display which also serves for unit control and setting.
PP60 automatically measure and dose the pH liquid into the pool water. PP60 pH is a very compact unit
consisting from control unit, pH-probe and dosing pump with an output of 60 ml/min. The unit is wall
mounted.
Installation
Install of the PP60 pH unit to filtration system is shown in Fig. 1. PP60 pH requires connection to the water
from pool. Connect the water supply to PP60 pH after the pump and before the filter. Injection valve from the
PP60 pH must be placed after the filter.
Warning:
NEVER PLACE INJECTION VALVE BEFORE THE MEASURING PROBE. All connections are hand tight
only. The PP60 pH unit is turned on when is connected to power source and must be connected to
samesocket as filtration pump.

First start !
The first start of the PP60 pH should be in the fresh water without any additional chemicals. Turn on the
PP60 pH by plugging it into a power socket.
You can move in the settings by the key MODE, the values displayed for particular items can be set by the
keys + and -. Press OK to confirm. Return to default screen by press MODE several times.
Don't forget to enter 2. Pool volume in m

1. By pressing the 4. Manual dose you can test the tubes for leaks. During the manual test pH-liquid
should moving through the tubes. When test is over liquid should not fall back to canister.
2. Select the 1. Required values and setup the required pH-value and press OK
3. Select what type of pH you want 5. pH+ / pH-.
4. After the start of the filtration pump check if water flows to the probe.
5. Now is the time for the probe calibration. Measure teh pH-value of the pool water by the manual
tester. In case the value measured by the regulator differs from that one found by the manual
measurement, make the correction in the item 3. Calibration and confirm by OK. To the operation
mode you return by the repeated pressing MODE.

Maintenance
PP60 pH does not require any maintenance just regular visual check of the tubes and connections.
pH-probe
In the winter it is recommended to keep the probe in the temperature over +5°C in its airtight case so that it
does not dry out. The lifespan of the probe is 1-2 years.
Peristaltic pump
Tube inside of the pump must be changed once a year. #
Replacement of the tube is done in the following way:
Turn the pump counterclockwise and remove it
Loose both ends of the tube
Cut the cable ties and release the tube
Install a new tube and secure it with new cable ties
Insert the tube back to the pump and grease it with a supplied grease
Install the pump back
Recommendations:
Aseko recommend to run filtration pump at least 6 hrs. a day so sufficient filtration is ensured.
Health and Safety
PP60 pH allows you to comply with hygiene rules for the physical and chemical requirements for pool water
quality. Install your PP60 pH indoor away from dust and high humidity and make sure all electrical
connections are secure. Do not open your PP60 pH or exchange any of the internal parts. This will damage
the electrical integrity of PP60 pH. The chemicals used with the PP60 pH must be handled in $
a safe manner to prevent damage or injury. Aseko recommends you always use personal protective safety
equipment. All chemicals used for the water treatment are very aggressive. At the manipulation with them
obey the safety guidelines.!

Warning – Error
After 30 doses of pH agent without probe response displays this error message.
The agent has run out.
Check the pH agents regularly so that they do not run out. #
This degrades over time and if exposed to direct sunlight.
The dosing pump does not work.
Check that your dosing pumps are securely fitted and not loose.
Check the connections to your dosing pumps are secure and not leaking.
Check the clear plastic tubes inside the dosing pumps are not damaged or broken.
To remove your dosing pumps from your PP60 pH, disconnect the clear plastic tubes, turn your
dosing pump anti clockwise and pull away from your PP60 pH.
The dosing valve is not working.
Check your dosing valves regularly for the build up of limescale.
Make sure dust and dirt does not get into the containers of the chlorine and pH agent to avoid
blockages and damage to the valves.
Check the rubber seals of your valves regularly to prevent leaking.
Water does not flow to the probes.
Check the clear plastic tubes connection to your PP60 pH for damage and leaks.
Check the connection of the clear plastic tubes to the valves for damage and leaks.
Check the valves are properly connected to the water supply and that they are not damaged,
blocked or in the closed position.
The probe does not work.
Ensure your probes are clean and free from dirt.
Exposure to below 0° C conditions damages the probes.
Regular cleaning of the probes maintains system accuracy.
