Superior feeding technology
The DR-M160 is equipped with several innovative features to help you maintain
the highest level of productivity. A unique separation retry function saves you time
by automatically re-feeding any documents that have entered the scanner together.
A convenient Double Feed Release (DFR) feature allows you to quickly ‘ignore and
continue’ scanning in special cases where a double feed has been incorrectly
detected, such as when scanning an envelope or a document with a sticky note.
Exceptional media handling
With a large capacity 60-sheet document feeder and robust separation mechanism,
mixed batched documents of different sizes and thickness can be reliably and quickly
processed. The imageFORMULA DR-M160 is extremely versatile across many business
applications. It is capable of scanning a wide variety of document types – including
thick and thin sheets, embossed cards and documents up to 3 metres in length.
High quality image processing
Powerful intelligent image processing ensures accurate and consistently superior
image results. Features such as auto-colour detection, text orientation recognition,
auto paper size and deskew detection ensure document image output has perfect
quality for optimum efficiency. A MultiStream feature is included as part of the
DR-M160 scanner driver, so standard imaging applications can output dual stream
images, for instance, B&W for OCR processing and colour for archiving.

tasks. For extra flexibility, CaptureOnTouch
supports scanning to multiple file formats,
