Sierra Wireless AirCard W801

The Sierra Wireless AirCard W801 is a powerful mobile hotspot device that allows you to connect your Wi-Fi-enabled devices to the internet from virtually anywhere. With its fast 4G/3G speeds, you can enjoy streaming video, browsing the web, and downloading files at blazing-fast speeds.

The AirCard W801 is also incredibly easy to use. Simply insert a SIM card from your wireless carrier, turn on the device, and connect your devices to the Wi-Fi network that the AirCard creates. You can also manage your AirCard's settings and monitor your data usage through the intuitive web interface.

Welcome to Time Warner Cable Mobile Internet
With Time Warner Cable Mobile Internet and the Sierra Wireless W801, it’s
easy to enjoy a superfast Mobile Internet connection with almost any Wi‑Fi
compatible device.
Simply follow the instructions to set up and activate your personal mobile
hotspot device. Then connect and go!

Requirements
Check your computer’s system requirements to ensure compatibility
with the W801:

Getting Started
1. Insert the battery into the W801. Plug the USB cable into the device and
connect it to the power charger. Charge the battery for at least 3 hours, or until
the Battery Status indicator is full.
2. Ensure you are in a Time Warner Cable Mobile Internet service area.
3. Check to see if that your computer’s Wi-Fi is turned on.
4. To turn on the W801, press and hold the Power button for several seconds.
5. The W801’s LCD Screen will display the W801 Wi-Fi Network Name and
Password, and ask you to connect your computer to the W801 Wi-Fi network.

Manage your Sierra Wireless W801
Change your network settings or your password
Use the Sierra Wireless W801 Home Page to view the status of the device and
your Wi-Fi connection, change your device settings and password, receive
software updates, and more.

Type http://twc4gmobile into the address bar of your browser window.
In order to change settings, you are required to login using the Admin Login tool
password.

How to Connect to the W801 Wi-Fi Network
For Windows® Vista,® Windows® XP, Windows® 2000:
1. From your desktop, click START>SETTINGS>NETWORK CONNECTIONS.
2. Right-click WIRELESS NETWORK CONNECTION to view the available wireless
networks.
3. Select the TWC4GMobile-xxx network and click CONNECT.
4. Enter your password (may be referred to as a network key) to complete the
connection.
For Windows® 7:

