IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. Please read all instructions carefully before using any appliance.
2. Always ensure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the mains
voltage in your home.
3. Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the appliance and cause injury
to the user.
4. The appliance is intended for household use only. Commercial use invalids the
warranty and the supplier can not be held responsible for injury or damage
caused when using the appliance for any other purpose than that intended.
5. Avoid any contact with moving parts.
6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
7. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8. Close supervision is required when any appliance is used near or by children
or invalids.
9. Check the power cord and plug regularly for any damage. If the cord or the plug
is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualied person in order
to avoid an electrical hazard.
10. Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in any way. In case
of damage, take the unit in for examination and/or repair by an authorised
service agent.
11. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the motor assembly,
plug or the power cord to water or any other liquid.
12. Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid for cleaning purposes.
13. Remove the plug from the socket by gripping the plug. Do not pull on the cord to
disconnect the appliance from the mains. Always unplug the unit when not in use,
before cleaning or when adding or removing parts.
14. The use of accessory attachments that are not recommended or supplied by
the manufacturer may result in injuries, re or electric shock.
15. A short cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from becoming entangled
in or tripping over a longer cord.
16. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. Ensure that the cord
is not in a position where it can be pulled on inadvertently.
17. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces and do not place on or near a hot gas
or electric burner or in a heated oven.
18. Do not use the appliance on a gas or electric cooking top or over or near
an open ame.
19. Use of an extension cord with this appliance is not recommended. However,
if it is necessary to use an extension lead, ensure that the lead is suited to the
power consumption of the appliance to avoid overheating of the extension cord,
appliance or plug point. Do not place the extension cord in a position where it can
be pulled on by children or animals or tripped over.
20. This appliance is not suitable for outdoor use. Do not use this appliance for
anything other than its intended use.
21. DO NOT carry the appliance by the power cord.

22. Do not leave this appliance unattended during use. Always unplug the unit when
not in use or before cleaning.
23. Always operate the appliance on a smooth, even, stable surface. Do not place the
unit on a hot surface.
24. The manufacturer does not accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused
by improper or incorrect use, or for repairs carried out by unauthorised personnel.
25. In case of technical problems, switch off the appliance and do not attempt to repair
it yourself. Return the appliance to an authorised service facility for examination,
adjustment or repair. Always insist on the use of original spare parts. Failure to
comply with the above mentioned pre-cautions and instructions, could affect the
safe operation of this machine.
26. This blender is turned ON and OFF by pressing on the panel on the Motor Base
marked as follows: “I/O”.
27. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. Use the blade’s collar to handle.
28. Do not blend hot liquids.
29. To reduce the risk of injury, never place the blade on the Motor Base without
properly attaching the tumbler. Always completely assemble the blade
and tumbler before placing on the Motor Base.
30. Always operate blender with tumbler in place.
31. Keep hands and utensils out of tumbler while blending to reduce the risk of severe
injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but must be
used only when the blender is not running.

SAFEGUARDS
1. All users of this appliance must read and understand this instruction guide
before operating or cleaning this appliance.
2. The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 220V AC electrical outlet only.
3. If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately turn off the
unit and unplug the cord. Do not use or attempt to repair the malfunctioning
appliance.
4. If this appliance falls or accidentally becomes immersed in water, unplug it
immediately. Do not reach into the water!
5. Do not use this appliance after it has fallen into or becomes immersed in water.
6. To reduce the risk of injury to persons or property, never use this appliance in an
unstable position.
7. Do not use this appliance for other than its intended use.
8. Do not use the tumbler if it is cracked or chipped.
9. IMPORTANT! Always make sure to add at least one cup liquid to the processing
tumbler before adding ice or foods that are frozen solid.
10. Do not overll.
Notes on the Cord
The provided short power-supply cord should be used to reduce the risk resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Do not use an extension cord
with this product.
Plasticizer Warning
CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating from the nish of the counter top
or table top or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between
the appliance and the nish of the counter top or table top. Failure to do so may cause
the nish to darken; permanent blemishes may occur or stains can appear.
Electric Power
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance
may not operate properly. It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit
from other appliances.
Changing the Fitted/Moulded Plug
Should the need arise to change the tted/moulded plug, follow these instructions:
Mains (AC) Operation. This unit is designed to operate on 220V current only.
Connecting to other power sources may damage the unit.
Connect three-pin plug as follows:

Before First Use
1. Carefully unpack the Sport Rocket Blender and remove all packaging materials. Check the contents
to ensure that all parts and accessories are present, and have been received in good condition.
2. Handle the blending blade attachment by its collar only.
WARNING: Do not touch blades. Blades are very sharp. Use extreme care when handling.
Failure to do so can result in personal injury.
3. Wash travel lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
4. Clean tumbler before use. Fill tumbler one-quarter full with clean, warm water. Following the steps
outlined in the Operating Instructions, pulse several times using the blending blade. Rinse thoroughly.
5. The motor base may be wiped with a damp cloth.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
Operating Instructions
1. Place the motor base on a at, clean, dry countertop or table.
2. Make sure the unit is unplugged.
3. The Sport Rocket Blender comes with 1 blending tumbler.
Place the food to be processed into tumbler.
4. To assemble for blending using the blade’s collar to handle,
place the blade assembly into the blending tumbler.
IMPORTANT: Check to make sure the travel lid is not attached
to the blending tumbler before assembling the blade.
If it is, simply remove it.
IMPORTANT: In the base of the blade’s collar, there is a plastic
gasket seal that creates an airtight t with the Sport Rocket
blending tumbler. After dishwashing and before each use, always
check to make sure the gasket is properly in place, as the heat
from some dishwashers may cause the gasket to become loose.
WARNING: Never operate the Sport Rocket Blender when the
blending tumbler is empty.
WARNING: Never overll the processing tumbler.
Do not exceed the MAX line.
5. Hold the tumbler rmly in one hand. Use the other hand to tighten
the up/blade assembly by turning the blade collar clockwise
until snug.
6. Plug the power cord into a 220V AC electrical outlet.
7. Invert the processing tumbler/blade assembly. Insert the blade collar into the motor base, tting the tabs
into the slots on the motor base.
NOTE: The Sport Rocket Blender will not operate unless the 2 locking tabs on the motor base are properly
tted into the 2 slots on the blade collar.
8. To process, turn the processing tumbler clockwise into the motor base and press the front panel
on the base to turn ON and then press again to turn OFF.
WARNING: Do not operate the motor continuously for more than 1 minute at a time.
Allow the motor to rest for 3 minutes before continuing.
9. When processing is completed, press the front panel to turn off, turn the tumbler counter-clockwise in the
base and lift to remove the tumbler/blade assembly.
10. Invert the tumbler/blade assembly. Hold the tumbler rmly in one hand. Use the other hand to turn the
blade collar counter-clockwise and remove the blade from the processing tumbler.
11. Add the travel lid to enjoy fresh juice, blended drinks or smoothies immediately.
Twist the lid to fasten it into the tumbler.
12. Unplug the Sport Rocket Blender when not in use and before cleaning.

User Maintenance Instructions
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user-serviceable parts. Any servicing requiring
disassembly other than cleaning must be performed by a qualied appliance repair technician.
Care & Cleaning Instructions
CAUTION: Never immerse the motor base, plug or cord in water or any other liquid.
1. Always unplug the Sport Rocket Blender before cleaning.
2. Whenever possible, rinse parts immediately after processing to make cleanup easier.
3. Always handle blades using the blade collar.
CAUTION: Use extreme care when handling blades. Do not touch the blades with your ngers.
The blades are very sharp and can cause injury if touched.
4. If necessary, use any small nylon bristle brush to remove processed food from the blade
and the blade area.
5. For quick clean-ups, ll processing tumbler one-quarter full with clean warm water. Following the steps
outlined in the Operating Instructions, pulse several times using the blending blade. Rinse thoroughly.
6. Remove travel lid after use to clean. Wash the lid and the tumbler in warm soapy water.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: Never use rough scouring pads or abrasive cleansers on any plastic or metal parts
as the surface may be damaged.
7. Processing blade, processing tumbler and lid are all top-rack ONLY dishwasher safe.
IMPORTANT: After dishwashing, always check to make sure the gasket seal in the base of the blade collar
is properly in place, as the heat from some dishwashers may cause them to become loose.
8. The motor base may be wiped with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
Storage Instructions
1. Unplug and clean unit.
2. Store in original box or in a clean, dry place.
3. Never store Sport Rocket Blender while it is hot or plugged in.
4. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Never place any stress on cord, especially where the cord
enters the unit, as this could cause the cord to fray and break.

Chocolate-Banana Milkshake
1 scoop of vanilla ice cream
1 banana
Chocolate milk
1. Combine all the ingredients into the blending tumbler.
2. Twist tumbler onto the base, blend until a smooth consistency is reached.
Tip: Add chocolate syrup to make your milkshake even richer!
Banana-Berry Smoothie
1 banana
1/2 cup of blueberries
Splash of orange juice or milk
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup previously nely crushed ice
1. Combine all the ingredients into the blending tumbler.
2. Twist tumbler onto base, blend until smooth consistency is reached.
3. Serve chilled!!

Warranty
House Innovative Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd warrants to the original purchaser of this product (“the
customer”) that this product will be free of defects in quality and workmanship which under normal personal,
family or household use and purpose may manifest within a period of 1 (One) year from the date of purchase
(“warranty period”).
1. Where the customer has purchased a product and it breaks, is defective or does not
work properly for the intended purpose, the customer must notify the supplier from
whom the customer bought the product (“the supplier”) thereof within the warranty
period. Any claim in terms of this warranty must be supported by a proof of
purchase. If proof of purchase is not available, then repair, and/or service charges
may be payable by the customer to the supplier.
2. The faulty product must be taken to the suppliers service centre to exercise
the warranty.
3. The supplier will refund, repair or exchange the product in terms of this warranty
subject to legislative requirements. This warranty shall be valid only where the
customer has not broken the product himself/herself, or used the product for
something that it is not supposed to be used for. The warranty does not include
and will not be construed to cover products damaged as a result of disaster, misuse,
tamper, abuse or any unauthorised modication or repair of the product.
4. This warranty will extend only to the product provided at the date of the purchase
and not to any expendables attached or installed by the customer.
5. If the customer requests that the supplier repairs the product and the product
breaks or fails to function properly within 3 (three) months of the repair and not
as a result of misuse, tampering or modication by or on behalf of the customer,
then the supplier may replace the product.
6. The customer may be responsible for certain costs where products returned are
not in the original packaging, or if the packaging is damaged. This will be deducted
from any refund paid to the customer.
7. The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, misuse, cabinet parts, knobs
or consumable items.
8. The product must be correctly installed and operated in accordance with
the instructions contained in this manual.
9. It must be used only for domestic purposes.
10. The guarantee will be rendered invalid if the product is re-sold, has been tampered
with or has been damaged by inexpert repair.
11. Specications are subject to change without notice.
12. The manufacturer disclaims any liability for the incidental or consequential
damages.
13. The guarantee is in addition to, and does not diminish your statutory or legal rights.
