an identical replacement.
Do not dispose of the battery in a 5.
re. The cell may explode. Check
with local codes for possible special
disposal instructions.
Do not open or mutilate the battery. 6.

and keys. The battery or conductor
may overheat and cause burns.
Do not use when hot or immediately 8.
after charging.
Personal safety
Stay alert. Watch what you are do-a.
ing and use common sense when
operating the tool. Do not use the
tool while tired or under the inu-
ence of drugs, alcohol, or medica-
tion. A moment of inattention while
operating the tool increases the risk
of injury to persons.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose b.
clothing or jewelry. Contain long
hair. Keep hair, clothing, and
gloves away from moving parts.
Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair
increases the risk of injury to persons
as a result of being caught in moving
parts.
Avoid unintentional starting. Be c.
sure the Trigger (3) is off before
connecting to the air supply. Do not
carry the tool with your nger on the
Trigger or connect the tool to the air
supply with the Trigger on.
Remove adjusting keys and d.
wrenches before turning the tool
on. A wrench or a key that is left at-
tached to a rotating part of the tool
increases the risk of personal injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper e.
footing and balance at all times.
Proper footing and balance enables
better control of the tool in unexpect-
ed situations.
f. Use safety equipment. A
dust mask, non-skid safety
shoes and a hard hat must
be used for the applicable
conditions. Wear heavy-duty work
gloves during use. Wear a full face
shield if you are producing metal
lings or wood chips.
g. Always wear eye protec-
tion. Wear ANSI-ap-
proved safety goggles with
side shields during use.
h. Always wear hearing
protection when using
the tool. Prolonged expo-
sure to high intensity noise
is able to cause hearing loss.
Tool use and care
a. Avoid unintentional
misres. Do not point tool
towards yourself or any-
one whether it contains
fasteners or not.
Do not load fasteners when Nailer b.
is turned on. Always assume tool
contains fasteners. Unintentional r-
ing may occur.
Only load fasteners of correct c.
type and size. Load only with 5/8”,
18 gauge Brad nails or Arrow®T50
staples. Do not exceed max. 100
Fastener capacity of Nailer.
Fire fasteners into an appropriate d.
work surface only. Do not attempt to
re fasteners into surfaces too hard
to penetrate. Do not drive fasteners
on top of other fasteners, or at too
steep an angle. Fasteners can rico-
chet, causing personal injury. Never

re this tool into the air or point it to-
ward yourself or another person.
Hold tool away from head and e.
body during use. Tool may kick
back, causing injury.
Do not re fasteners too close to f.
edge of workpiece. They may split
workpiece and causw personal injury.
Carry tool by handle only. g.
Use clamps or another practical h.
way to secure and support work-
piece to a stable platform. Holding
work by hand or against body is un-
stable and can lead to loss of control.
Do not force the tool. i. Use correct
tool for application. The correct tool
will do the job better and safer at the
rate for which the tool is designed.
Store the tool when it is idle out of j.
reach of children and other un-
trained persons. A tool is dangerous
in the hands of untrained users.
Maintain the tool with care. k. A prop-
erly maintained tool, reduces the risk
of binding and is easier to control.
Check for misalignment or bind-l.
ing of moving parts, breakage of
parts, and any other condition that
affects the tool’s operation. If dam-
aged, have the tool serviced before
using. Many accidents are caused
by poorly maintained tools. There is a
risk of bursting if the tool is damaged.
Use only accessories that are m.
identied by the manufacturer for
the specic tool model. Use of an
accessory not intended for use with
the specic tool model, increases the
risk of injury to persons.
Service
Tool service must be performed a.
only by qualied repair personnel.
When servicing a tool, use only b.
identical replacement parts. Use
only authorized parts.
Use only lubricants supplied with c.
tool or specied by manufacturer.

The warnings and precautions dis-1.
cussed in this manual cannot cover
all possible conditions and situations
that may occur. It must be under-
stood by the operator that common
sense and caution are factors which
cannot be built into this product, but

WARNING:2. Some dust created by
power sanding, sawing, grinding, drill-
ing, and other construction activities,
contains chemicals known [to the
State of California] to cause cancer,
birth defects or other reproductive
harm. Some examples of these
chemicals are:
• Lead from lead-based paints
• Crystalline silica from bricks and
cement or other masonry products
Arsenic and chromium from chemi-
cally treated lumber
Your risk from these exposures var-
ies, depending on how often you do
this type of work. To reduce your
exposure to these chemicals: work in
a well ventilated area, and work with
approved safety equipment, such as
those dust masks that are specially
designed to lter out microscopic

particles. (California Health & Safety
Code § 25249.5, et seq.)
Take caution, as some woods contain 3.
preservatives such as copper chro-
mium arsenate (CCA) which can be
toxic. When nailing these materials,
extra case should be taken to avoid
inhalation and minimize skin contact.
Only use with accessories rated to 4.
handle forces exerted by tool during
operation. Other accessories not de-
signed for the forces generated may
break and forcefully launch pieces.
Attach accessories properly. A loose 5.
accessory may detach or break dur-
ing operation. Do not use with acces-
sory or attachment not listed in man-
ual. Harbor Freight will not be held
liable for damage or injury caused
due to use of unauthorized attach-
ments or accessories
Do not lay tool down until it has com-6.
pletely stopped. Moving parts can
grab surface and lead to control loss.
Maintain labels and nameplates. 7.
These carry important safety informa-
tion. If unreadable or missing, con-
tact Harbor Freight for replacement.
The warnings, precautions, and in-8.
structions discussed in manual can-
not cover all possible conditions and
situations that may occur. It must be
understood by operator that common
sense and caution are factors which
cannot be built into product, but must
be supplied by the operator.
Vibration Hazard
This tool vibrates during use. Re-
peated or long-term exposure to vibra-
tion may cause temporary or permanent
physical injury, particularly to the hands,
arms and shoulders. To reduce the risk of
vibration-related injury:
Anyone using vibrating tools regu-1.
larly or for an extended period should
rst be examined by a doctor and
then have regular medical check-
ups to ensure medical problems are
not being caused or worsened from
use. Pregnant women or people
who have impaired blood circulation
to the hand, past hand injuries, ner-
vous system disorders, diabetes, or
Raynaud’s Disease should not use
this tool. If you feel any medical or
physical symptoms related to vibra-
tion (such as tingling, numbness, and
white or blue ngers), seek medical
advice as soon as possible.
Do not smoke during use. Nico-2.
tine reduces the blood supply to the
hands and ngers, increasing the risk
of vibration-related injury.
Wear suitable gloves to reduce the 3.
vibration effects on the user.
Use tools with the lowest vibration 4.
when there is a choice between dif-
ferent processes.
Include vibration-free periods each 5.
day of work.
Grip tool as lightly as possible (while 6.
still keeping safe control of it). Let
the tool do the work.
To reduce vibration, maintain the tool 7.
as explained in this manual. If any
abnormal vibration occurs, stop use
immediately.
