Before you set up
Identify where you’re going to
mount your light strip and controller.

Let’s get started
STEP 1: Prepare mounting location
Use the included alcohol wipes to clean your desired
mounting location. Allow it to dry before proceeding to
the next step.
STEP 2: Mount & connect controller
Peel o the adhesive backing and mount the controller
where both the front and side buttons will be easily
accessible. Keeping the light strip rolled, plug the end into
the controller.
STEP 3: Mount strip
Unroll the strip, peeling o the adhesive backing and
pressing firmly into place as you go. Use the included
adhesive clips to reinforce the controller cables and strip,
particularly around corners or anywhere the strip bends.

Trimming the strip
You may cut the strip only at the
designated marks shown below. Any trimmed
portion cannot be used and should be discarded.

it’s plugged
into power.
STEP 4: Connect to power
Once your light strip is mounted and trimmed
(if necessary), connect the power adaptor to the
controller and plug it into a wall outlet. Your strip
should light up and start pulsing BLUE.

Pairing your strip
STEP 1: Download the Roku Smart Home app
Scan the QR code below to download the Roku Smart
Home app on your smartphone. Sign in with your Roku
account or create one.
STEP 2: Begin pairing
In the Roku Smart Home app, tap the “+” button, then
“Add Device” to find “Light Strip.” With the power
adaptor plugged into the wall, ensure the strip is
pulsing BLUE. If not, press and hold the controller’s side
button until the status light flashes YELLOW and BLUE.

Double check all of the connections to make sure they’re
secure.
STEP 3: Finish pairing
Follow the instructions in the Roku Smart Home app to
finish pairing the light strip to your account.
