TEXRAY MindPeace is a thyroid collar designed to reduce external x-ray radiation exposure for the thyroid gland, neck and bottom cranial area of healthcare professionals. It is made of a unique patented, lead-free and woven composite core material called Texray. MindPeace is available in three different designs and three different sizes to ensure a proper fit for each user. It is intended for use against ionizing scattered x-radiation only and not for gamma protection. The radiation protection of this product is set at 0.35 or 0.50 mm Pb equivalence as measured between 60-110kV.
