Frymaster SHS User guide

  • Hello! I have reviewed the SHS Quick Reference document. This manual details how to operate the SHS Heated Air System, including instructions for adjusting its plate and air heater temperatures, and converting between Fahrenheit and Celsius displays. I am ready to help you with any questions you may have about this device.

Operation
 Press the power button. LO is displayed
until the air heater and heater plate are
within 15°F (9°C) of setpoint.
 Ready is displayed.
 Unit is ready for use.
Fahrenheit to Celsius Display
 Unplug unit from power supply.
 Press and hold either temperature bulb
button.
 Plug unit back into power supply with
button depressed.
 S T O R is displayed.
 Release the temperature button.
 Press the power button.
Setting Temperature
 Turn the SHS
controller OFF.
(nothing in the
display).
 Press , then
enter 1, 2, 3, 3.
Use the numerals in the upper right-
hand corner of each key.
 SET is displayed.
 LEDs on the Heater Plate button (1)
and the Air Heater button (4) light .
 Press the button that corresponds to the
heater you want to adjust.
 Press the Up and Down arrow keys to
adjust the set-point temperature.
 Press the Check button once. Both
heater LEDs will again light.
 Follow the same steps to adjust the
temperature of the other plate.
Factory Default Sengs
Heater Plate: 170°F(77°C)
Air Heater: 230°F(110°C)
