Changing the smoke outlet from top outlet to back outlet, HWAM (drawing E)
. Lift the cast-iron top () o the stove
. Remove the two sides of the stove by loosening the screw () and removing it. The two
screws () should only be loosened (not removed). Lift the sides o.
. Open the metallic tabs () and take the wires out.
. Pull the lambda sensor coupling () free of the wire fastener ().
. Remove the heat shield () and wire fastener () by removing the two screws ().
. Remove the cover plate ().
. Remove the flue ring () and fasten it to the rear of the stove.
. Use a soft faced hammer, for instance, to break o the top of the heat shield () and the
wire fastener ().
. Fasten the heat shield () and wire fastener () to the stove again.
. Reposition the lambda sensor coupling () in the wire fastener ().
. Fix the two wires by closing the metallic tabs () again.
. Installing the cover plate. Place the cover plate over the hole (above the combustion chamber,
where the flue ring was just removed) and fasten with the three screws.
. Break o the laser-cuttings () on the side plates.
. Place the sides on the guide pins () and hang on the screws () which must be fastened
again.
. Place the cast-iron top () on the stove.
. Place the cast-iron top cover () in the hole in the cast-iron top plate.
An accessory top flue blanking plate is available to cover the hole in the stove top plate if the
smoke outlet is connected at the rear of the stove.

. Loosen the two screws () on each side of the heat storage compartment that support the
front plate of the heat storage compartment (), and remove the front plate.
. Remove the temperature monitor from the smoke ring.
. Remove the flue ring () and fasten it to the rear of the stove.
. Reattach the temperature monitor in the smoke ring, leading the sensor about cm into the
smoke ring.
. Installing the cover plate. Place the cover plate over the hole (above the combustion chamber,
where the flue ring was just removed) and fasten with the three screws.
. Use a soft faced hammer, for instance, to break o the top of the heat shield () and the
wire fastener ().
. Fasten the heat shield () and wire fastener () to the stove again.
. Reposition the lambda sensor coupling () in the wire fastener ().
. Fix the two wires by closing the metallic tabs () again.
. Install the front () on the heat-storage compartment again.
. Break o the laser-cuttings () on the side plates.
. Place the sides on the guide pins () and hang on the screws () which must be fastened
again.
. Place the cast-iron top () on the stove.
. Place the cast-iron top cover () in the hole in the cast-iron top plate.
