Battery Replacement Tech Sheet
Removing the Battery
1. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
a. Loosen the screws that secure the back cover to the computer [1].
b. Lift the back cover and remove it from the computer [2].
2. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
a. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board [1].
b. Loosen the screws that secure the battery to the computer [2].
3. Lift the battery and remove it from the computer.
