NOTES OF USE
Location and Function of Parts
1. Lens Mount (CS Mount): For installation of CS Mount lenses only.
2. Tripod Stand
: Allows mounting the camera onto a camera tripod.
3. Exposure Control
: Auto IRIS mode (two types of lens are appropriate for
this function).
- DC IRIS Lens
: Set the IRIS slide switch to the DC position and adjust the
LEVEL control on the side panel to obtain a clear picture.
- Video IRIS Lens
: Set the IRIS slide switch to the VIDEO position and adjust
the LEVEL and ALC controls on the lens to obtain a clear picture.
-
Automatic Electronic Shutter (AES)
: Set the IRIS slide switch to the AES
position to automatically adjust shutter speed according to the subjects
brightness.
4
4. V-phase Adjustment
: When using two cameras or more, the image on the
monitor may roll vertically when switching sources. This rolling can be
minimized by adjusting this controller.
5. DC IRIS Level Adjustment
: Use to compensate for the Iris Level of a
DC-type auto-iris lens. Turn counterclockwise towards L (low)/ clockwise
towards H (high) to make the picture appear darker/brighter.
6. Back-Focus Adjustment:
6A. Back Focus Screw:
Loosen the back focus screw before using focus
adjustment. Tighten after the desired focus is achieved to maintain setting.
6B. Focus Adjustment:
Adjust focus adjustment dial to obtain correct back-
focus (applies to CS mount lenses).
7. DIP Switch:
Function adjustment. (For further instructions see pp.4-6)
8. Video Output Terminal (BNC):
Connect external (“spot”) monitor to assist
adjustment of camera during installation.
9. Forced to BW external control terminal:
The camera will be forced to BW
mode with external contact.

NOTES OF USE
Dip Switch Function Description
1. Auto Gain Control (N-AGC / S-AGC)
N-AGC (Normal): Standard position, GAIN = 24dB.
S-AGC (Super): High-sensitivity position, GAIN = 30dB.
2. Back Light Compensation (ON / OFF)
ON: The BLC function is on
OFF: The BLC function is off.
3. SYNC System (L-LOCK/ INT)
L-LOCK: The camera is in the Line-lock mode. Adjust degrees by with
V-PHASE control on the side panel.
INT: The camera is in the internal SYNC mode.
4. Picture sharpness (SOFT / SHARP)
Picture sharpness selection.
5. Auto White Balance (ATW1 /ATW2)
TTL auto trace white balance algorithm is designed to implement a
perfect colour reproduction.
ATW1: Colour temperature range: 2500oK~6000oK.
ATW2: Colour temperature range: 2500oK~9500oK.
6. ICR Mechanism (CL / AUTO)
Choose the Day / Night mode by setting the dip switch to Auto or Colour
position.
Colour: The camera will remain in Colour mode.
Auto: The camera will automatically switch between Colour or B/W modes
according to the brightness of the scene being shot.
Congure a switchover point from Colour to B/W mode by selecting HIGH,
MID or LOW with a slide switch.
LOW: The switchover point of brightness from Colour to B/W is 1 lux (~ 10S)
MID: The switchover point of brightness from Colour to B/W is 2 lux (~ 10S)
HIGH: The switchover point of brightness from Colour to B/W is 3 lux (~ 10S)
The switch-over point of brightness from B/W to Colour mode is 8 lux (~ 10S)
7. Exposure Control (AES / AI)
ON: Auto electronic mode(AES)
The shutter speed varies from 1/50(60) sec to 1/100,000 sec depending on
the environmental conditions.
OFF: Auto IRIS mode(AI). Note: This function applies to DC lenses only.
After the AES dip switch is set to OFF position, adjust the LEVEL pot on the
back panel of the camera to get a clear picture.

8. IR Lamp (IR ON / IR OFF)
Using switch to select ON or OFF.
The environment with extra IR lights may cause issues for the ICR lter,
which can be resolved by turning this function ON.
9. Manual Shutter Control (Pins 9~12)
Follow the table below to manually congure shutter speed with the
dip switches #9-12.
