REMOVING GAS KNOCKOUT
There are 2 gas knockouts at front and rear on
each side refractory. Front knockouts are for
incoming rigid supply line and rear are for gas
log burner supply line (see Figure 3).
All remote ready gas logs have the controls
mounted on right side. If your has incoming
gas supply on left side, you may have to re-
move both rear knockouts to minimize expos-
ing gas lines after installing burner pan.
Whether incoming gas supply line was
installed on left or right side will determine
which side gas supply pipe enters rebox.
However, burner gas line and pilot lines must
pass through oval knockout located at right
rear side brick panel.
1. Place end of a 1.5" diameter wood dowel
or metal pipe inside knockout area and
tap with a hammer. Punch out the entire
1.5" x 2.25" slotted area. See Figure 4.
2. Clean all debris from bottom hearth pan
to prevent obstruction and insure proper
t of burner pan and valve bracket.

Operating instructions

FMI GA9152 is a pilot adaptor kit that can be used with DESA Heating Products Vented Gas Logs for Installation in VANGUARD Performance and Value Line or FMI Craftsman and Georgian Wood Burning Fireplace Series. It is compatible with natural gas and propane/LP gas supply.

The kit includes all necessary parts for installation, such as a gas valve, pilot assembly, ignitor, and mounting bracket. It also includes a chart to help select the correct size injector and gas fitting for your gas log set.

The GA9152 makes it easy to install a vented gas log set in your fireplace. It is designed to provide a safe and efficient way to heat your home. The pilot assembly ensures that the gas log set will ignite quickly and easily. The ignitor provides a spark to light the pilot light. The mounting bracket secures the valve assembly in place.
