HARDWARE INSTALLATION
1. Connect an HDMI cable from the display to the HDMI out connector on the HDX-POE-PRO.
2. Optionally connect an RS-232 cable from the HDX-POE-PRO to an RS-232 device or display.
3. Optionally connect a CAT5e/6 cable from the HDX-POE-PRO to the display for Internet access.
4. Connect a CAT5e/6 cable from the HDX-POE-PRO to the Matrix.
5. Optionally connect an IR emitter (not included) to the IR OUT port on the HDX-POE-PRO.
6. Optionally connect an IR receiver (not included) to the IR IN port on the receiver.
7. Optionally connect a power adapter to the HDX-POE-PRO. The HDX-POE-PRO can be powered via the CAT5e/6
connection with POE. (Power over Ethernet)
INTRODUCTION
Extend 4K (3840x2160 @30Hz) Ultra-HD HDMI,
IR remote control, RS-232 command, and
Ethernet-based internet signals up to 328 ft
(100m) from source devices with the HDX-POE-
PRO. The HDX-POE-PRO is efficient using Power-
Over-Ethernet (POE). The HDX-POE-PRO pairs
with Smart-AVI’s HDR-8x8-XT HDMI matrix, which
powers the HDX-POE-PRO units directly over
CAT5e/6 cable connections.
