canresultininjury.Toreducethepotentialfor
injury,complywiththesesafetyinstructions.
Torodesignedandtestedthislawnmowerfortooffer
reasonablysafeservice;however,failuretocomply
withthefollowinginstructionsmayresultin
personalinjury.
Engineexhaustcontainscarbonmonoxide,an
odorless,deadlypoisonthatcankillyou.
Donotruntheengineindoorsorinanenclosed
area.
Toensuremaximumsafety,bestperformance,and
togainknowledgeoftheproduct,itisessentialthat
youandanyotheroperatorofthelawnmowerread
andunderstandthecontentsofthismanualbefore
theengineiseverstarted.Payparticularattention
tothesafetyalertsymbol(Figure2)whichmeans
Caution,Warning,orDanger—“personalsafety
instruction.”Readandunderstandtheinstruction
becauseithastodowithsafety.Failuretocomply
withtheinstructionmayresultinpersonalinjury.
