BEFORE USING THE MIXER
Beforeusingthemixer,ensurethatallusersarefamiliarwiththecorrectoperationofthemachine.In
particular,careshouldbetakentoensurethatthebowlandmixingtoolsarecorrectlyfittedandthatthe
bowlguardisinpositionpriortostartingthemachine.

NEVERplaceyourhandoranykitchenutensilinthebowlwhilstthemixerisinoperation.
Keephands,hairandclothingawayfrommovingparts.
Isolatethemachinefromtheelectricalsupplybyremovingtheplugfromthesocketbefore
cleaning,servicingoradjustinganypartsorattachments.
Donotusethemachinewithanycoverorguardremoved.
Certainoperatornoticeadvisingaboutthesafeuseofthismixerisattachedtothemachine.

TOOL SELECTION
Thebeater,whiskandspiraldoughhookaretools
fortheworkimpliedbytheirnames.Donotusethe
beaterfordoughmakingorthewhiskforanythingother
thanwhisking,aeratingormixinglightmixtures.
TheTable1showsthetypicalusesforeachofthetools.
NOTE:Alwayswashagitatorwithmildsoapandapply
lightquantityofmineraloiltoplanetaryshaftafter
cleaning.
FITTING THE BOWL
Withthebowlcradlelowered,placethechosenmixingtoolinthe
bowlandpositionthebowlonthecradle.Therearethreelocationpoints
whenfittingthebowl.PleaserefertoFigure3:
(1)Thelockingpinattherearofthebowlshouldlocateintheholeofthe
cradle.
(2)Thetwoholesinthebowlhandlesmustengageonthepinslocatedon
thecradle.
(3)Pleaseensurethatthebowlisseatedcorrectlyonthecradlebefore
securingthebowllockinglatchespriortouse.
FITTING THE MIXING TOOL
Slidethebayonetfittingoftheagitatorontothedriveshaftandtwistclockwise
tosecureitinposition.Toremovetheagitator,slidethetooluptheshaftslightlyand
twistcounterclockwise.PleaserefertoFigure4.
NOTE:InstallthebowlBEFOREinsertingagitators.
BOWL LIFT & BOWL GUARD
CAUTION:MakesurethespeedcontroldialisintheOFFposition.
Thebowlcradleandbowlguardareelectricallyin terlockedsothatthe
machinewillonlyoperatewiththebowlcradleattheraisedposition.

Inadditiontothis,thebowlguardmustbeinstalledintoplace.
NOTE:Onlyoncethebowlisraisedwiththebowlguardinstalled,the

THERMAL OVERLOAD PROTECTION (Automatically Reset)
Thethermaloverloadprotection(circuitbreaker)willshutoffandstopthemachineautomatically.If
thisoccurs,pleaseturntheON/OFFspeedselectorbuttonto0OFFpositionandreducethesizeofbatch.
Afterwaiting12minutesmachineshutoff,turntheON/OFFspeedselectororbuttontoONposition.The
circuitbreaker maybedifferentbaseonmixersvoltage.*Figure6showsthepositionofcircuitbreaker.

socketwithinthehub.RotatetheattachmenttolineuptheLocationPeg
(E)withitsmatingholeinthehubandpushfirmlyhome.Tighten
thumbscrewtosecure.

CARE OF YOUR MIXER

Themixerisdesignedforsimplemaintenancecarriedoutbyoperators.Itmaybenecessaryfrom
timetotimetoapplyalittleVaselineandoiltotherodsonwhichthebowlcradleslides.Ifso,usealittle
foodqualitylubricant,ensuringthatthereisnoex cessoilthatcouldcontaminatethefoodmix.
Cleanthemixe rthoroughlyafteruse.Afterisolatingthemachinefromtheelectricitysupply,the
bodyshouldbewipeddownwithadampcloth.Donotspraythemachinewithorimmerseitinwater.
Donotforgettocleantherearofthemachineanddonotallowtherearventstobecomeblockedasthis
mayresultinoverheating.
Payparticularattentiontothebowlpinsandanysurroundingareasofthecradletopreventthe
accumulationofmix,asthiscouldpreventcorrectlocationofthebowl.Forthesamereasonensurethat
thebeatershaftandeachofthesocketsonthetoolsarecleanedthoroughly.Thebowlandtoolsshould
bewashedinhotsoapywater,rinsedanddriedbeforebeingputintostorage.Donotwashtheagitators
inadishwasher,asthepolishedfinishwillbeadverselyaffectedbythedishwashingchemicals.
Maintenance
Itisrecommendedthatanyservicingormaintenanceworkmustbecarriedoutbyatrained
technicianorelectrician.
