Important safeguards
Read all the instrucons before use:
1. To protect against the risk of electrical shocks, do not put the electric wine
opener in water or other liquid. This may cause personal injury and or
damage to the product.
2. To protect against re, do not operate the unit in the presence of explosive
and or ammable fumes.
3. Do not use the electric wine opener for anything other than its intended
use.
4. This product is intended for normal domesc household use only.
5. Never force the electric wine opener onto a bole or aempt to speed up
the mechanism. The electric wine opener will work best when it is operated
at its intended speed.
6. Do not touch or adjust the electric wine openers mechanism or the
corkscrew spiral. Only hold the electric wine opener by its plasc housing.
7. Do not aempt to open boles if the switch is not working correctly.
8. Do not aempt to open the electric wine opener. It has no serviceable parts.
Cauon: The corkscrew is sharp, handle with care. Keep hands and utensils out of
the container while operang the appliance to prevent the possibility of severe
personal injury and damage to the appliance.

Operang the appliance
We recommend that you charge your electric wine opener for at least sixteen hours
before using it for the rst me. Aer this charging period has occurred the wine
opener will be charged for up to 8 hours. Once it is fully charged the wine opener
will open up to 30 boles of wine.
1. Recharging your electric wine opener: push the adaptor jack fully into the
charging inlet and then connect the plug to a compable power outlet.
When the blue light in the transparent part of the appliance ashes it
indicates that the wine opener is now charging. The appliance is a low
energy consumpon product, the power supply will switch o aer the unit
Is fully charged.
2. Take out the foil cuer to remove the seal on the wine bole.

3. Place the electric wine opener on top of the wine bole, keeping the wine
opener to the wine bole. Hold the wine bole in one hand while the other
hand will be used for unscrewing the cork.
4. Lower the cylinder over the wine cork (Fig 1) and press down. The corkscrew
spiral will automacally turn in a clockwise direcon entering the cork and
gradually pull the cork from the bole. When the electric wine opener
mechanism automacally stops, the cork has been fully removed from the
bole (Fig 2).

5. Li the electric wine opener away from the bole. To eject the cork from the
opener press the release buon on the top. The spiral will turn in an an-
clockwise direcon and release the cork (Fig 2).
6. Aer use, please place the opener upright on the table.
7. If a plasc cork does not release easily, use pliers or tongs to grip the cork as
the spiral unwinds. Do not use your ngers.

ordinary household waste, as electrical and electronic waste must be
disposed of separately.
In accordance with the WEEE direcve, every member state must ensure correct
collecon, recovery, handling and recycling of electrical and electronic waste. Pri-
vate households in the E.U. can take used equipment to special recycling staons
free of charge. In certain member states used apparatus can be returned to the
dealer where they were bought on the condion you buy new products. Contact
your retailer, distributor or the municipal authories for further informaon on
what you should do with electrical and electronic waste.
UK and EU Guarantee
Your new Andrew James product comes with a 24 month guarantee and a 2 year
xed warranty, eecve from receipt conrmaon. Your receipt or order number is
required as proof of purchase date so it is imperave that you keep it safe. This
guarantee only applies if the item has been used solely for the use intended, and all
instrucons have been followed accordingly. Please note this product is only for
domesc use only and is not for commercial use.
Abuse of your product will invalidate the guarantee. Returned goods can only be
accepted if repackaged properly within the original colour product box, and pre-
sented with the original receipt of sale/order number. This does not aect your
statutory rights.
Returned products must be cleaned and returned to us in as close to delivery condi-
on as possible.

If your product develops a problem within the rst 12 months of the xed warranty,
we will pay all shipping costs to have it returned to us. Aer 12 months the custom-
er will be liable for the cost of returning the product to us. We will then pay to have
the repaired/replaced item shipped back to the customer.

Customers are responsible for any taxes applied to our products when they are
shipped outside of the EU.
All of our prices are inclusive of VAT.
Once a product has been returned to us, we will aim to repair or replace it within 30
days of receipt.
The guarantee does not cover any defect arising from improper use, damage, build-
up of lime scale or repair aempts made by third-pares. Also, the guarantee does
not cover normal wear and tear of individual parts.
