The AeroPilates Tower and Mat accessory are for use with the AeroPilates PRO XP686 reformer
produced by Stamina Products, Inc. Do not use the AeroPilates Tower and Mat accessory with
products not produced by Stamina Products, Inc.
Read 55-5686 AeroPilates PRO XP686 Owner's Manual and this Owner's Manual before using the
tower and mat accessory.
Inspect the AeroPilates Tower and Mat accessory for damaged or loose components prior to use.
Tighten/replace any loose or worn components prior to using the AeroPilates Tower and Mat
accessory.
Consult a physician prior to commencing an exercise program. If, at any time during exercise, you
feel faint, dizzy, or experience pain, stop and consult your physician.
Always choose the workout which best fits your physical strength and flexibility level. Know your
limits and train within them. Always use common sense when exercising.
Do not wear loose or dangling clothing while using the AeroPilates Tower and Mat accessory.
AeroPilates Tower and Mat accessory are accessories for the AeroPilates PRO XP686.
They are individual items that are sold separately.

Place all parts from the box in a cleared area and position them on the floor in front of you. Remove all
packing materials from your area and place them back into the box. Do not dispose of the packing materials
until assembly is completed. Read each step carefully before beginning. If you are missing a part please

STEP 1
Remove the TOP BEAM(35) from the UPRIGHT TUBES(34) of AeroPilates PRO XP686 by unscrewing
BUTTON HEAD BOLTS(M8x1.25x15mm)(85).
STEP 2
Refer to the illustration for the correct position of the UPRIGHTS(131). Insert the UPRIGHTS(131) onto the
UPRIGHT TUBES(34) and secure with BUTTON HEAD BOLTS(M8x1.25x15mm)(85).
STEP 3
Refer to the illustration for the correct position of the TOWER TOP BEAM(130). Insert the TOWER TOP
BEAM(130) onto the UPRIGHTS(131) and secure with BUTTON HEAD BOLTS(M8x1.25x15mm)(85).

The AeroPilates PRO XP686 (55-5686) is not included with the AeroPilates Tower and Mat
accessory (55-5684).

Attach the PUSH-THRU BAR(135) to one of the adjustment holes in the UPRIGHTS(131) with the LOCKING
PINS(140).
STEP 4

There are three adjustment holes in each UPRIGHT(131) that allow you to attach the PUSH-
THRU BAR(135) to three different heights.
Push down the button on the "T" end of the LOCKING PIN(140) to release the Steel Ball on the
other end of the pin. Then you just can insert the LOCKING PIN(140) into the adjustment hole.
Push the button to remove the pin.

Attach the SECURING STRAP(141) onto the EYEHOOK(132) on the top of the TOWER TOP BEAM(130).
For some exercises, the PUSH-THRU BAR(135) should be up and secured in position with the SECURING
STRAP(141).
STEP 5
NOTE:
Always make sure SAFETY CHAIN(146) is connected when the PUSH-THRU BAR(135) is in use.
Always use SECURING STRAP(141) to keep the PUSH-THRU BAR(135) in a secure position
when not in use.

TO SET THE AeroPilates PRO XP686 INTO THE
CADILLAC MODE:
NOTE:
Carefully place the
CADILLAC CUSHIONS(150) onto the Aluminum Rails of AeroPilates PRO XP686.
If you want to use the FOOT STRAP(73), swing the FOOT STRAP(73) up above the Wooden
Platform.

Remove the FOOTBAR(20) or the FREE-FORM CARDIO REBOUNDER(76) (if installed).
Remove the SHOULDER PADS(56).
Refer to the inset drawing. Pull the SPRING PIN(39), then slide the LEFT PULLEY SLIDER(36) down
and turn it to point the front. Lock the LEFT PULLEY SLIDER(36) in the locking hole with the SPRING
PIN(39). Repeat on other side.

PUSH-THRU BAR
When doing exercises that require the spring resistance to come from above the bar, attach the PUSH-
THRU SPRING(143) to the hook on the upper side of the PUSH-THRU BAR(135) with the DOUBLE ENDED
CLIP(147). Attach the other end of the PUSH-THRU SPRING(143) to one of the hooks on the Tower with
the LINK(64).
When doing exercises that require the spring resistance to come from below the bar, attach the PUSH-
THRU SPRING(143) to the hook on the underside of the PUSH-THRU BAR(135) with the DOUBLE ENDED
CLIP(147). Attach the other end of the PUSH-THRU SPRING(143) to one of the hooks on the HANDLEBAR
(30) with the LINK(64). Be sure that the SAFETY CHAIN(146) is always connected to the PUSH-THRU
BAR(135) when in use.
TO USE THE ACCESSORIES:
CAUTION !
When using the PUSH-THRU SPRING(143) from below, you must hook the spring onto the HANDLEBAR
(30) with the LINK(64) and make sure the SAFETY CHAIN(146) is connected. Ensure that the SPRING
SLEEVE(142) which covers the PUSH-THRU SPRING(143) is moved over the lower part of the spring to
avoid pulling the user's hair or clothing.

SAFETY CHAIN
The SAFETY CHAIN(146) must be used as follows:
When using the PUSH-THRU BAR(135) with spring attached from below to do arm or leg exercises, the
chain must be attached to the hook on the upper side of the bar on the same side as the spring and to the
EYEHOOK(132).
ROLL-DOWN BAR
The ROLL-DOWN BAR(148) attaches via the ARM SPRINGS(144) to the eyehooks on the TOWER TOP
BEAM(130) between the two UPRIGHTS(131) with the LINKS(64). Attach the Springs to the ROLL-
DOWN BAR(149) with the DOUBLE ENDED CLIPS(147). Ensure the links and clips are completely closed
and secure.
If the resistance needs to be decreased, use the LEG SPRINGS(145) to replace the ARM SPRINGS(144).
Ensure the links and clips are completely closed and secured.
ARM EXERCISES
Attach ARM SPRINGS(144) to eyehooks at desired height with the LINKS(64). Attach the other ends of
the springs to the HAND STRAPS(65) with the DOUBLE ENDED CLIPS(147). Ensure the links and clips
are completely closed and secured.
LEG EXERCISES
Attach LEG SPRINGS(145) to eyehooks at desired height with the LINKS(64). Attach the other ends of the
springs to the HAND STRAPS(65) with the DOUBLE ENDED CLIPS(147). Ensure the links and clips are
completely closed and secured.

WARRANTY
Stamina Products, Inc. warrants that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship
under normal use, service and proper operation for a period of 90 days on parts and 5 years on the frame
from the date of the original purchase from an authorized retailer. THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY
TO ANY PRODUCT WHICH HAS BEEN SUBJECT TO ABUSE, MISUSE, ALTERATION OF ANY TYPE
OR CAUSE OR TO ANY DEFECT OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, SUBSTITUTION
OR USE WITH PARTS OTHER THAN PARTS PROVIDED BY STAMINA PRODUCTS, INC.
To implement this limited warranty, send a written notice stating your name, date, and place of purchase and
a brief description of the defect along with your receipt to Stamina Products, Inc. P.O. Box 1071, Springfield
Missouri, USA, 65801-1071 or call us at 1 (800) 375-7520. If the defect is covered under this limited
warranty, you will be requested to return the product or part to us for free repair or replacement at our option.
NO ACTION FOR BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY MAY BE COMMENCED MORE THAN ONE
(1) YEAR AFTER THE DATE THE ALLEGED BREACH WAS OR SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISCOVERED.
NO ACTION FOR BREACH OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY MAY BE COMMENCED MORE THAN ONE
(1) YEAR AFTER DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCT TO THE PURCHASER. This limited warranty is not
transferable. IF ANY PART OF THE PRODUCT IS NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THIS LIMITED
WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, THE REMEDY OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT IS THE
EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AVAILABLE TO YOU. In the event that the purchaser makes any claim under this
limited warranty or any implied warranty, the Warrantor reserves the right to require the product to be returned
for inspection, at the purchaser's expense, to the Warrantor's premises in Springfield, Missouri. Return of
the enclosed warranty registration card is not required for warranty coverage, but is merely a way of
establishing the date and place of purchase.
Stamina Products, Inc. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE LOSS OF USE OF ANY PRODUCT, LOSS OF
TIME, INCONVENIENCE, COMMERCIAL LOSS OR ANY OTHER INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL,
SPECIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES DUE TO BREACH OF THE ABOVE WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY.
This limited warranty is the only written or express warranty given by Stamina Products, Inc. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state.
ANY OTHER RIGHT WHICH YOU MAY HAVE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE
DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.
The laws in some jurisdictions restrict the rights of manufacturers and distributors of consumer goods to
disclaim or limit implied warranties and consequential and incidental damages with respect thereto. If any
such law is found to be applicable, the foregoing disclaimers and limitations of and on implied warranties and
consequential and incidental damages with respect thereto shall be disregarded and shall be deemed not to
have been made to the extent necessary to comply with such legal restriction.
