OPERATIONINSTRUCTIONS
1) Makesuretheplug is firmlyplugged into thesocket.
2) Makesurethewatertank is placed in correct position.
(When using the dehumidifier forthefirsttime, if thefull
tanklampis lit up,justpulloutthewatertankthen
push it backintothecorrect position.)

Whenthewatertankisfull,theindicationlampwilllightup,
thedehumidifierwillstopoperating.Removethewater in
thetank,thenplacethewatertankback to it'sproperposition
themachinewillstart operatingagain.

4DEFROST
Whenoperating in low temperatures(lessthan12°C)thesurface of theevaporator
willaccumualatefrostandeffecttheefficiency of thedehumidifier.When this
happensthemachinewill go intoperiodicdefrostmodeautomatically. This is quite
normal.Defrostlampwillcomeon.Model(GDH-DEH16E)willoperate in
temperaturesdown to 5 . Defrosttimemayvary. If thedehumidifierfreezesup,
turnoff at powersupplyandrestartunit. If thetemperatureremains ataverylow
level,continuouslyoutsidetheoperationalrangeoffthedehumidifier,5°C to35°C,
theunitshould be switched off.

(The hose requires an inner dia of 13mm)
2. Takeoutthe bung of the drainage outlet .
3. Takeoutthesoftcover,put it andtubebung
into the bucket forstorage.
4. ConnectthePVChosewiththe drainage outlet.
5.Place the bucket in its original location.

MAINTENANCE
For safety reasons please make sure the dehumidifier is unplugged before
cleaning.
1) Cleaning theCasing
A. Wipethecasing using soft andcleancloth.

Use mild detergent and a damp cloth to clean
C. Do not submerge unit in water
2) Cleaning the Air Filter
The purpose of the air filter is to filter dust or other materials in the air.
clean the filter every two weeks.
Cleaning Steps
A. Pull out thefilter gently.
B. Clean the filterby using a vacuum cleaner or washingwithclean water.
C. Place the filter back to it's position.
If a problem occurs, unplug the machine and contact your Dimplex Service Center
immediately on 0800 6662824. Do not tamper with the internal workings of the unit.
Then dry the filter with a cloth
