In-Ground Planting Instructions
StepChoose a planting location that receives
6–8 hours of sunlight each day.
Step Check the tag on your plant for the
required soil pH level. Use an acidifier for
blueberries, if needed.
Step Dig a hole slightly larger than the
container, aerating the soil with your shovel.
Step Remove your plant from its container.
Gently loosen the roots.
Step Place your plant in the hole, level with
the soil. Add aerated soil back into the hole
around the plant.
Step Water thoroughly at the base of the
plant 2–3 times a week.
Container Planting Instructions
Step Choose a decorative pot 12–16” in
diameter with drainage holes.
Step Check the tag on your plant for the
required soil pH level. Place multiple scoops of
soil into your pot.
Step Remove your plant from its container.
Gently loosen the roots.
Step Place your plant in the pot, level with
the soil.
Step Add soil around the plant, leaving 1.5”
inches at the top of the pot.
Step Water thoroughly at the base 2–3 times
per week. Place your pot where it will receive
6–8 hours of sun each day.
