Paddling & Safety
Finding your
serial number
It is strongly recommended that you take a •
certified kayak education course to learn ba-
sic techniques.
When boarding, secure one foot in the center of the •
kayak while holding onto both sides of the cockpit.
Sit comfortably against the seat back , and adjust your footrests as •
required.
Make sure to practice forward and turning strokes, practice getting •
into and out of your boat.
You must wear an approved life preserver or approved personal •
floatation device (PFD).
We strongly suggest that you equip your kayak with basic emergency •
equipment, such as a spare paddle, a warning horn or a whistle, and
a strobe light or flare.
Before launching your boat in the water, make sure that your drain •
plug is tightly secured.

All paddle sports can be dangerous and physically challenging. The finest
equipment can cause serious injury or death if not properly used.
We recommend that you receive proper training in paddling techniques,
security on the water, and first-aid techniques before using your kay-
ak. Our user guide gives you a summary of rules and regulations for a
pleasant and safe experience.
Hypothermia
Hypothermia is a dangerous drop in the body’s core temperature below
the normal temperature level (37˚C or 98.6˚F). Hypothermia occurs when
the body is subjected to prolonged exposure to cold weather and body
temperature drops below 35˚C or 95˚F. Marine accidents are very danger-
ous and can be life threatening if you are poorly prepared for the cold
water.
Surroundings
Before setting out, make sure you are familiar with your surroundings.
Be aware of permitted navigation hours, emergency services, and locate
the danger zones.
Physical Capacity
Realistically evaluate your physical capacity and andurance. You may
have to swim to the shore.
Slippery Surfaces
Your kayak becomes extremely slippery when wet. Therefore, it is
recommended that to wear slip-resistant shoes and remain balanced in
the middle of your kayak at all times.
Do not stand in your kayak
Your kayak may capsize if you stand in it. if you should capsize, it is
recommended that you stay with your kayak rather than attempting to
swim to shore.
Children
Never allow children to use any Kayak without adult supervision.

Weather and Water Conditions:
Always verify the weather and water conditions in the area you will be
boating. Your kayak is only designed for use in sheltered waters, lakes
and slow moving streams. Your kayak is not recommended for white wa-
ter use. NEVER go kayaking in severe winds, rain, thunderstorms, choppy
waters, strong currents, flood waters, or where tides will seriously affect
your ability to steer your kayak back to shore.
Storage
The easiest way to store your kayak is to sit it on a flat surface. or stand
it against a wall. If your kayak remains outdoors, you should keep it
covered. Do not pile any other items on top of your stored Kayak.
Do not leave straps cinched tightly around your kayak for long periods of
time, especially in warm weather.
Your kayak must not be stored in the sun for extensive periods of time.
Product safety information label
Your kayak comes with an information label containing important safety
information. This label must stay permanently attached to your kayak.
Should the label deteriorate or become detached, please contact Future
Beach for a replacment.
Coast Guard Regulations
Always abide by Coast Guard regulations, State and local laws and rules
concerning boating and boating safety.

Limited Consumer Warranty
Future Beach® Corporation war-
rants your new kayak to be free
from defect in materials and work-
manship, subject to the following
terms and conditions:
Future Beach• ® warrants the
hull of your new kayak to be
free from defects in materials
and workmanship for a period
of 2 (two) years from the date
of retail sale.
The kayak components are •
covered for a period of 1 (one)
year from the date of pur-
chase.
The warranty is applicable •
to Future Beach® products
registered and normally oper-
ated in North America. Under
this warranty, Future Beach® is
limited to the repair or re-
placement of the components
at the option of Future Beach®.
This warranty is non-transfer-•
able to a subsequent owner.
The following is not covered
by this warranty:
Damage due to misuse, ac-•
cident, collision, etc.
Future Beach• ® Corporation
shall have no liability whatso-
ever for any personal injury,
accident or consequential
damages
Wear-and-tear deterioration, •
discoloration, or fading, etc.
Commercial use or rental•
Damage or surface corrosion •
caused by the environment
Damage caused by the use of •
aggressive chemical cleaning
solvents
All incidental or consequential •
damages
Any damage incurred in •
transport from Future Beach®
to the customer
Any transportation charges to •
and from an Authorized repair
facility
Labor to install new or •
replacement components
Customers are responsible for in-
specting their kayak upon arrival
for any shipping damage and must
notify Future Beach® in writing
within 5 (five) days of the date of
delivery.
Future Beach® will be responsible
for all freight and handling charges
should the purchaser find a defect
in either the hull or component
parts within the first 30 days from
the date of retail purchase.
After 30 days from the date of
retail purchase, transporta-
tion charges for hulls and/or re-
placement components are the

responsibility of the purchaser. This
warranty is limited to the purchase
price of the product, and is non-
transferable to a subsequent owner.
Repair or return of boats
All requests for a return authoriza-
tion number must be sent by email
return of any boats will not be ac-
cepted by Future Beach® without
an authorization number.
This warranty is the sole and ex-
clusive warranty by Future Beach®
in connection with its boats and
Future Beach® makes no warran-
ties or representations, expressed
or implied (including warranties of
merchantability and or fitness for
a particular purpose) in such con-
nection except as specifically de-
scribed in this warranty.
All incidental and/or consequential
damages are excluded from this
warranty. Implied warranties are
limited to the life or this warranty.
Some states do not allow limita-
tions on how long an implied war-
ranty lasts or the exclusion or limita-
tion of incidental or consequential
damages, so the above limitations
or exclusions may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you special le-
gal rights, and you may also have
other legal rights which may vary
from state to state.
During the warranty period Future
Beach® Leisure Products is obliged
only to repair or replace, at its
discretion, the above mentioned
parts, at either its manufacturing
plant, or at an authorized dealer
store or service center, as decided
by Future Beach®. Transportation
costs back to the appointed place
or repair or replacement are at the
expense of the consumer. Future
Beach® is not responsible for any
damages incurred in transport,
charges for storage or transporta-
tion fees, nor for inconvenience or
loss of time or money while repairs
are being made.
