About This Variety: Rainbow Fizz™ (Spiraea japonica ‘Matgold’ USPP28876) from Bloomin’ Easy® will make any
outdoor space pop! This new and improved deciduous shrub offers colorful foliage that goes through many looks
throughout the season, from crimson reds to oranges, coppers and golds. Candy pink flowers bloom late spring
through summer as well, adding to the interest. Plant Rainbow Fizz™ in groups, in mixed beds or decorative patio
containers, or even along paths and walkways to create that beautiful, relaxing space you’ve always wanted.
Growing Instructions: Dig a hole two times the width of the Liner pot. Set top of root ball even with ground level.
Combine planting mix and garden soil. Fill to ground level and tamp down firmly. Water to settle soil. Add layer of
mulch to retain moisture and discourage weeds. Water regularly for the first year, then as needed once established.
Feed with a quality fertilizer following application and frequency instructions, typically just before and during the
bloom season.
Care Tip: Prune after blooming for best flower set the following year.
