ASSEMBLY THE FIXTURE (FIG. 1)
1. Shut off the power supply at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
Remove the old fixture from ceiling, including the old cross
bar.
2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on
a clear area. Take care not to lose any small parts necessary
for installation.
3. Feed wire through tube (K) as required to get desired height.
While holding the tube (K) by nipple (J) turn counter-clockwise
four full turns. Attach each additional tube (K) by turning it
clockwise until assembled.
4. Screw the bottom end of the rod (K) onto the nipple (L) tightly;
and thread the top end of the rod (K) into the swivel (I) well;
5. Thread the glass shade (O) into the socket cup (M);
6. Install the light bulbs in accordance with the fixture’s
specifications. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE
RATING!
MOUNTING THE FIXTURE
7. Thread the 2 mounting screw (B) properly into the pre-drilled
mounting holes on the cross bar (A). (See Fig.1)
8. Attached the Cross bar (A) to the outlet box by using the 2
Outlet Box Screws (G) from the out let box. The side of the
Crossbar (G) marked “GND” must face out.
9. Follow the wiring instruction carefully (See Fig.2).
10. Lift up the canopy (H) over the outlet box, and let the
mounting screws (B) protrude the pre-drilled mounting holes
on the canopy (H), then secure with ball nut tightly.
Wiring (See fig.2)
1. Connect the electrical wires as follows. Connect the black
wire from the fixture to the black (HOT) house wire. Connect
the white wire from the fixture to the white (Neutral) house
wire. Make sure all the wire nut was secured. You may wrap
the connections with electrical tape. If your outlet box has a
ground wire (Green or Bare Copper) connect fixture’s ground
wire to it. Other wise attach the bare copper fixture wire to the
green ground screw on the mounting bar.
2. Tuck the wire connections neatly into the ceiling junction box.
Your installation is now complete. Turn on the power supply of
the junction box to test the fixture.
