HANGING INSTRUCTIONS for Pre-Pasted Wallpapers:
Especially recommended for installation of YORK’s Sure Strip brand of wallpapers.
Sure Strip wallpapers are manufactured with a unique high performance substrate
and special adhesive, allowing for ease of installation and future removal.
1. Fill Wallpaper Sprayer with water. Pump handle to create pressure.
2. Cut wallpaper strip to fit wall height, allowing a few extra inches for trimming.
3. Lay cut strip, pattern side down, on floor or table, covered with a drop-cloth or
towel to protect against any overspray of water.
4. Using the Wallpaper Sprayer, activate the paste with a fine mist of
clean water to entire back of the pre-pasted surface,
paying close attention to the edges.
5. Fold top and bottom of strip toward center, paste to paste, allowing folded
strip to sit for approximately 2-3 min. to relax paper & fully activate paste.
6. Take moistened strip to the wall and smooth into place with a smoothing brush
or sponge.
7. Repeat procedure for each subsequent strip, trimming excess wallpaper from doors and windows with
razor knife, and wiping excess paste from the front of each strip with a sponge and clean water.

Spécialement recommandé pour l’installation du papier peint Sure Strip de York Wallcoverings.
Les produits Sure Strip sont des produits de haute performance, spécialement conçus et reconnus
pour leur facilité à être installé et retiré lorsque le client souhaite remodeler son décor.
1. Remplir d’eau le pulvérisateur de papier peint. Pomper la poigné pour créer de la pression.
2. Coupez une lanière de papier peint en fonction de la hauteur du plafond, prenez soin
de laisser quelques cm d’extra pour couper le surplus.
3. Étendre le papier peint, motifs vers le bas, sur le plancher ou sur une table. Nous suggérons de
recouvrir la table ou votre plancher d’une serviette, afin que celle-ci absorbe les excès d’eau
qui pourraient endommager votre papier peint.
4. En utilisant le pulvérisateur de papier peint, activez la colle en y pulvérisant une fine
couche d’eau propre sur l’endos de votre papier peint.
(assurez-vous de couvrir l’entièreté de la surface pré-encollée)
5. Pliez délicatement la lanière de papier peint en deux , de façon à ce que toute la
surface mouillée se touche. Laissez reposer 2 à 3 minutes, le temps que la
colle s’active.
6. Une fois reposée, prendre la lanière et appliquer la sur le mur. Lissez la surface du papier
peint à l’aide d’une brosse ou d’une éponge
7. Répéter la procédure pour chaque lanière de papier peint nécessaire. Coupez les excès de papier peint
(portes, fenêtres…) à l’aide d’une lame de rasoir ou d’un couteau à lame rétractable (x-acto). Nettoyez l’excès
de colle à l’aide d’une éponge et d’eau propre.
