Moog Minitaur Rack Kit Operating instructions

The Minitaur Rack Mount Brackets included in this kit can be

used to rack mount your Minitaur at 2 different angles in 3U

of rack space.

To mount your Minitaur so the front panel is flush with the

rack mount surface, refer to the drawings. Each rack mount

bracket is attached to the Minitaur chassis by removing the

five sheet-metal screws shown in the exploded drawing and

reinstalling them through the appropriate holes in the

bracket. Take care not to over-tighten the screws when

installing. Please note that when mounting the Minitaur at

this angle, you will need to use right angle connectors or

leave 1U rack space clear above the minitaur for the

connectors to clear.

used to rack mount your Minitaur at 2 different angles in 3U

of rack space.

To mount your Minitaur at a 23° angle in relation to the rack

mount surface, refer to the drawings. Each rack mount

bracket is attached to the Minitaur chassis by removing the

five sheet-metal screws shown in the exploded drawing and

reinstalling them through the appropriate holes in the

bracket. Take care not to over-tighten the screws when

installing. Please note that when mounting the Minitaur at

this angle, most straight plugs will clear equipment mounted

in the rack space above the Minitaur. Large straight plugs may

not clear equipment mounted directly above the Minitaur.
