ASSEMBLY & ADJUSTMENTS
I
NSTALLATION GUIDELINES
This sliding table attachment can be mounted on most table saws having a 27”
deep table. If your table saw doesn’t have mounting holes to install the sliding table,
d
rilling or drilling and tapping holes will be necessary.
W
ARNING!

assemble this sliding table attachment.
INSTALLING SLIDING TABLE TO YOUR TABLE SAW
This sliding table attachment gets installed to the left side of the main table of your
table saw. Fig.1 shows the sliding table and fence completely assembled to King
table saw model KC-26FXT.
1) Disassemble and remove the left side extension wing (if mounted to your table
saw) as shown in Fig.2.
2) If your table saw has a rip fence and bars system installed, choose one of the
following options;
#1-Completely remove the bars during the use of the sliding table.
#2-Remove the bars, install sliding table, then reinstall bars in new location and drill
new mounting holes through bars and table.
#3-Have the bars cut at a machine shop so they no longer interfere with the
installation of the sliding table to the table saw (we recommend about a 1/8”
clearence). Fig.2 shows the left extension wing removed and the bars are
marked to indicate the cut lines. Most table saw owners would prefer to have the
left side of the bars cut since ripping is mainly done on the right side of the blade
and the rip fence system will continue to function as intended. Once cut,
reinstall the bars.
3) Position the sliding table up against the left side of the table saw. Using the three
M8 x 1.25 cap screws, spring washers and washers (B) Fig.3 supplied, mount
the sliding table (A) Fig.3 to the left side of the table saw. Only hand tighten at
this point.
4) Sliding table must be unlocked and pushed all the way in one direction to access
2 of the 3 sliding table mounting holes.
T
o unlock sliding table, pull down and
turn sliding table pin lock (A) Fig.4 half a turn. Install the remaining cap screw,
spring washer and washer.

NSTALLING SUPPORT LEGS TO SLIDING TABLE
1) Install both adjustable feet (A) Fig.5 to the support legs (A). To install, screw them
into the bottom of the support legs to support the sliding table. At this point, do
not tighten the hex. nuts (C) against the bottom of the support legs.
2) Once the sliding table is fixed (finger tightened) to the table, slide the T-nut (A)
Fig.6 of each support leg (B) into the sliding table T-slot (C). Position each
suppport leg near the front and rear edges of the sliding table. To secure,
tighten the support legs by turning them clockwise.
INSTALLING EXTENSION TABLE TO SLIDING TABLE
1) Insert and slide the T-nuts of the extension table (A) Fig.7 into the side T-slot of
the sliding table.
2) Secure the extension table by tightening the spring loaded lock handles (B). The
extension table side plate has been removed for illustration purposes. This
extension table can be positioned anywhere along the sliding table.
ADJUSTING SLIDING TABLE AND EXTENSION TABLE FLUSH AND LEVEL
WITH TABLE TOP
1) The top of the extension table (A) Fig.8 must be set flush (identical height) with
the top of the sliding table (B).
2) The top of the extension table and the sliding table must be set 0.01” - 0.02”
higher than the top of the table saw (C), this way your workpieces won’t drag.
3) To do this, place a straightedge (D) on top of the sliding table and the top of the
table saw. Adjust the height of the sliding table 0.01” - 0.02” higher than the top
of the table saw, once perfectly positioned, tighten the sliding table mounting
hardware.
4) Adjust the adjustable feet (B) Fig.5 of the support legs until the edge of tables are
perfectly level with the table saw
. Once properly adjusted, tighten the hex. nut (C)
Fig.5 against the bottom of both support legs (A) as shown.

ASSEMBLY & ADJUSTMENTS
ADJUSTING SLIDING TABLE TRAVEL PARALLEL TO BLADE
If the sliding table travel is not set parallel to the saw blade your workpiece could
b
ind and kickback causing serious personal injury. Make the following verification to
make sure the sliding table travels parallel to the saw blade before operating your
t
able saw.
1) Make sure the saw blade has been raised to its maximum height.
2) Position a straightedge flat on the tables and place one end up against the flat
part of the blade. Then tape the straightedge to the sliding table as shown in
Fig.9.
3) Unlock the sliding table and slowly move it forward, check to see if a gap forms
between the straightedge and the blade. If a gap larger than 0.004” is found,
loosen the sliding table mounting hardware and add paper shims between the
tables until the sliding table runs perfectly parallel to the saw blade.
INSTALLING KING MAGNETIC SWITCH TO SLIDING TABLE
King Industrial cabinet table saws come with a magnetic switch which gets installed
to the front bar of the rip fence system. Since this section of the front bar was cut
to allow sliding table installation, the magnetic switch now needs to be mounted to
the underside of the sliding table. If you don’t own a King Industrial cabinet table
saw, the following may not apply to your situation, but it is very important that the
switch be relocated as close as possible to the operator, modification may be
required.
1) Position the magnetic switch and mounting plate assembly (A) Fig.10 under the
front end of the sliding table. It will be necessary to loosen strain relief (B) and
pull on cord to allow magnetic switch to reach the front end of sliding table.
Retighten strain relief once cord length is adjusted.
2) Align the mounting holes of the magnetic switch mounting plate and those of the
sliding table, once aligned, secure the magnetic switch mounting plate using the
small cap screws, spring washers and washers supplied.
INSTALLING/ADJUSTING CROSSCUT FENCE
1) Slide the miter gauge body T-slot bar (A) Fig.11 into the right side T-slot of the
sliding table. Slide the locking handle T-slot nut (B) into the left side T-slot of the
sliding table as shown.
2) Position the fence assembly (A) Fig.12 over the shafts of both the T-slot bar and
nut. Place a plastic washer (B) on each shaft.

) Then secure the fence to the sliding table using the two fence angle lock handles
(A) and (C) Fig.13. Tightening these handles will secure the fence angle and the
p
osition of the fence on the sliding table.
4) The miter gauge body comes with positive stops and is adjusted by pulling the
positive stop knob (B) Fig.13, it allows the user to quickly set the fence at one of
the predetermined angles (0
0
, 22.5
0
and 45
0
to the right and left). Pull the
positive stop knob (B) and turn the miter gauge body until you have reached the
desired positive stop, release positive stop knob.
5) To make repetitive cuts, install the flip stop (A) Fig.14 to the top of the telescopic
fence (B). Slide the flip stop T-nut into the top T-slot of the telescopic fence.
Tighten lock handle (C) to secure flip stop. Note: The flip stop can also be
installed to the top T-slot of the crosscut fence.
6) For longer workpieces, the telescopic fence (B) Fig.14 can be pulled out by
loosening lock screw (D).
OPERATION
Loosen the fence lock handles (A) Fig.13. Position the crosscut fence in the desired
angle, once in position, tighten the fence lock handles.
Unlock sliding table, pull down and turn sliding table pin lock (A) Fig.4 half a turn.
Now the sliding table can move freely. Pull the sliding table towards you and
position your workpiece against the crosscut fence. Turn your saw on and slowly
push the fence lock handles to feed your workpiece into the blade. Once operation
is done, lock sliding table using sliding table pin lock.
For workpieces up to 48”, slide out the telescopic fence for additonal support.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Unplug table saw power cord from power source.
Cleaning- Clean sliding table top with a clean dry cloth removing all excess wood
chips and saw dust. Use a resin cleaner to remove any resin build-up, but make a
test on scrap material first to avoid discoloration of the aluminum extrusion. After
every use, protect the unpainted cast-iron surface by wiping it clean, this will
prevent wood moisture from remaining on the table and causing rust.
