SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and store for future use!
Warning: The safety steps and instructions in this user's manual do not include all the possible condi-
tions and situations which may arise. The user must understand that a factor that cannot be built into
any product is common sense, caution and care. These factors must therefore come from the user/s
using and operating this product. We do not take responsibility for damages caused during transport,
by incorrect use, by voltage fl uctuations or a change or modi cation of any part of the product.
To prevent the danger of a fi re occurring or injury by electric shock, basic provisions should be adhered
to when using electric products, including the following:
1. Make sure that the voltage in your power socket corresponds to the voltage on the product's label
and that the power socket is properly earthed. The power socket must be installed according to
valid safety regulations.
2. Never use the oven if the door is damaged, if the oven does not function correctly or if the power
cord is damaged. Have a professional service centre carry out all repairs or tuning includ-
ing the changing of the power cord! Do not remove protective covers from the product
as there exists a danger of injury by electric shock!
3. To avoid potential injury by electric shock, protect the appliance from direct contact with water
and other liquids. Do not submerge the power cord or plug in water!
4. The microwave oven should not be left in operation without supervision.
5. We recommend that you do not leave the oven with the power cord inserted in the power socket
without supervision. Before carrying out maintenance pull the power cord out of the power
socket. Do not pull the plug out of the power socket by pulling on the cord. Pull the cord out of
the power socket by holding the power plug.
6. Do not use the microwave oven outdoors or in a wet environment. Do not touch the power cord
or the appliance with wet hands. There is a danger of injury by electric shock.
7. Pay extra attention if using the oven near children.
8. The power cord must not touch any hot parts or go over sharp edges.
9. Do not place the oven on a hot surface or use it near a heat source (e.g. hot plates).
10. To reduce the risk of fi re in the oven, follow these instructions:
a) Do not overheat food.
b) Before placing paper or plastic bags into the oven, remove all clips.
c) Do not heat up oil or fat for frying in the oven, because it is impossible to regulate the oil's
temperature.
Do not fry food in the oven. Hot oil may damage parts of the oven, kitchen containers and
may also cause burns.
d) After use wipe the door, door seal and the internal area of the oven with a wipe dipped in
a detergent solution and wipe dry. In this way you will remove all dirtiness, fat and food re-
mains.
WARNING: If the door or the door seal are damaged the oven must not be used until it is
repaired by a qualifi ed technician. Accumulated fat could overheat and cause smoke or fi re.
Do not use abrasive cleaning products.
e) If the food being prepared in the oven starts to emit smoke or catches on fi re, leave the oven
door closed, turn off the oven and pull the power cord plug out of the power socket.
f) If using single-use containers from plastic, paper or other fl ammable materials do not leave
the oven without supervision.
52
EN
11. Reduce the risk of explosion or a sudden boil as follows:
WARNING: Do not put air tight containers into the oven. Baby bottles with a screw on lid or
a dummy are also considered to be closed containers. They could explode.
a) To heat liquids use only a container with a wide opening and after heating let stand for 20
seconds, to avoid an eruptive boil.
b) Eggs in their shell, whole hard boiled eggs, water containing fat or oil and closed glass con-
tainers must not be heated in the microwave oven, because they could explode. Hash browns,
sausages or chestnuts must be shelled or pricked before being inserted into the oven.
c) Do not take out heated liquids immediately after heating. Wait a few seconds before taking
them out to prevent a potential risk situation caused by an eruptive boil.
d) The contents of baby bottle and cans with baby food must be mixed before being served or
shaken and its temperature must be checked to prevent burns.
12. After cooking is complete, containers are very hot. Use kitchen gloves to take them out. Be careful
not to burn your face or hands by contact with hot steam.
13. Always slowly lift the most distant edge of the lid or the food foil. Popcorn bags and baking bags
are to be opened at a suf cient distance from the face.
14. So that the turning plate is not broken:
a) Before cleaning allow the turning plate to cool down.
b) Do not place any hot foods or containers on a cold turning plate.
c) Do not place frozen foods or cold containers on a hot turning plate.
15. Ensure that while cooking containers do not touch the inside walls of the oven.
16. Do not store food or other items inside the oven. If the electrical grid is struck by lightning then
the oven may turn itself on independently.
17. Do not use the oven if there are not any liquids or food inside. By doing this you could damage
the oven.. Do not block or seal the oven's ventilation openings.
18. Use only accessories authorised by the manufacturer.
19. Use the microwave oven only in accordance with the instructions included in this user's manual.
This microwave oven is intended for household use only. The manufacturer takes no responsibility
for damages caused by the incorrect use of this product.

cleaning agents do not accumulate on the seal on the door and sealing surfaces.
3. Do not attempt to put the oven into operation if it is damaged. It is important that the oven's door
ts tightly and is not damaged after being closed. Examples of dangerous damage to the door:

If you have any doubts about the correctness of the electrical installation or malfunction of the oven
contact a qualifi ed electrician or a service technician.
1. The microwave oven is equipped with a short power cord to reduce the risk of injury by tripping
or entanglement.
2. A long extension cord must meet the following requirements:
a) In regards to the permitted electrical load, the nominal values of the extension cord and the
socket must conform to the nominal values of the microwave oven.
b) The extension cord must be a triple-core cable and both the plug and the socket must have
an earth pin.
c) The cord must be well hidden so that it doesn't unnecessarily hang over the kitchen bench
top, so that it is not tripped over or that it is not pulled out by children.
EQUIPMENT AND DISHES
NOTE
Danger of injury
Tightly closed containers may explode during cooking. Closed containers must be opened before
cooking and plastic wraps must be pierced, see Materials that may not be used for cooking in a mi-
crowave oven. There are some non-metallic materials that may not be safely used during cooking in
a microwave oven. If you are unsure if it is possible to use a material during cooking in a microwave
oven, do the following:
Test of kitchen dishes:
1. Fill the container intended for cooking in the microwave oven with cold water (250 ml).
2. Boil for a time of 1 minute at the maximum power output of the oven.
3. Carefully check the temperature of the tested container. If the tested container is warm, do not
use it for cooking in the microwave oven.
4. Do not cook longer than 1 minute.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Common
The microwave oven interferes
with television reception.
While in operation the microwave oven may interfere with radio
and television reception. It is a similar type of interference to that
of small electric appliances such as mixers, vacuum cleaners and
electric ventilators.
The light inside the oven dims. When using a lower power output the light inside the oven may
dim.
Steam is accumulating on the
door, hot air is coming out of
the openings.
While cooking steam may come out of the food. The majority of
it will escape through the ventilation openings, but a part may
accumulate in a colder area such as the door. This is a normal
event.
The oven was accidentally
turned on while empty.
You must not turn on the oven when empty. It is very dangerous.
Problem Possible cause Solution
Can not turn on the oven. The power cord is not fi rmly
inserted into the power socket.
Pull the cord out of the socket.
After approximately 10 sec-
onds reinsert the power cord
into the socket.
A fuse has burned out or the
circuit breaker was triggered.
Change the fuse or switch on
the circuit breaker (repaired by
a service technician from our
company).
Problem with the power
socket.
Try to connect a different
electrical appliance into the
socket.
The oven does not heat. The door is not properly
closed.
Close the door properly.
During the operation of the
microwave oven a noise can
be heard, caused by the glass
turning plate.
The assembled driving collar or
the bottom of the oven is dirty.
Clean the oven according to
the instructions in chapter
"Cleaning".
