Safety Notes:
Read this instruction manual thoroughly.
Keep children and domestic animals away from the operating range.
Before cleaning, maintaining or adjusting the appliance make sure the
appliance is switched off and unplugged from the mains power supply.
You must always wear safety glasses when operating this appliance, and it is
recommended to wear ear protection for noise absorption.
If the power cable gets tangled or is damaged, switch the machine off and
disconnect from the power supply.
Do not use the appliance during rainfall.
The circulation of the propeller can lead to serious injury and you must keep your
hands away from it when it is in motion. Before removing the collecting sack from the Vac always
make sure that you have switched off the motor, and disconnected from the mains power supply.
Do not insert your hand, or any other object into the exhaust pipe or any other opening.
If you have long hair make sure that it is tied back, so that it is above shoulder height.
Never wear loose fitting clothing when operating the vac, as it could become caught in the moving
parts.

The installation of a residual-current-operated protective device (RCD) with a sizing
conventional tripping current of not more than 30 mA in the supply circuit is recommended as
additional protection. Consult your local hardware store.
Always disconnect the cable from the power socket, if:
- the electric cable is damaged or is jammed.
- the machine will be left unattended.
- an obstacle needs to be cleared from the path of the vac.
- the vac needs to be cleaned or maintained.
Safety instructions
1) Instructions
- Read this instruction manual carefully and keep in a safe place for future reference.
- Do not let children use the machine.
- Do not let other people who are not familiar with these instructions use this appliance.
- Never use the machine if people, particularly children, or domestic animals are anywhere
near the machine.
- Use the vac with caution, as the user is responsible for any accident that happens to an
individual or third party property.
2) Preparation
- Always wear sturdy, slip proof shoes and trousers while using the machine.
- Do not wear loose-fitting clothes or jewellery as they could become caught in the moving
parts. Use of rubber gloves is advisable while working outdoors.
- Always wear safety glasses when operating the vac.
- When working in a dusty environment use a dust mask in case of dust inhalation.
- Check the machine, the connecting cable and the extension cord before each use. Should
the vac be damaged, or missing any safety devices stop using it immediately and take to
your local hardware store for repair.
3) Operation
- Always keep the machine connecting cable at the rear of the device.
- If the power cable is damaged, then remove the plug from the power socket.
- Do not carry the machine by the power cable.
- Remove the plug from the power socket if:
the machine is being checked, cleaned or congestion is being cleared.
- After contact with foreign substances or in case of abnormal vibrations.
- Use the vac during daylight, or with sufficient artificial lighting.
- Do not underestimate how powerful the appliance is. Always maintain a safe distance from
the vac when operating it.
- If possible, avoid using the machine in wet grass.
- Make sure children are a safe distance from the machine.
- Always walk, do not run when using the vac.

- Always keep the ventilation opening clean.
- Do not point the suction-blower opening at people or animals.
4) Maintenance and storage
- Before operating the appliance make sure all of the bolts and screws are properly
tightened.
- Only use the accessories supplied with this appliance.
- For safety reasons replace worn or damaged parts.
- Unused electrical tools should be kept in a dry location.
If possible, avoid using the machine in wet grass.
When operating the appliance on a slope always work across the slope and not up and down.
Never raise or move the machine away if the motor is running.
If the power cable is damaged switch off the vac and remove the plug from the power
supply.
If the connecting cable of this machine is damaged, then it must be replaced by your local
hardware store.

Part assembly
The Garden Vac is delivered with some parts that are not fitted. Assemble these parts as
follows:
Attach 2 x rear wheels by pushing wheel onto spindle with open sections to the
outside. Place washer onto spindle and secure by pushing wavy pin through hole at
the end of the spindle. Click the wheel trim into place and repeat with second wheel.
Fit the push bar. (Figure A1) Unpack the screw (8), the bolt (7), the lower push bar
(4) and the motor cover (5). Assemble them as shown in Figure A1 using the
screws provided. Ensure that all the screws are tightened. Fit the middle push bar
(3) and the upper push bar (2) and secure them together with another screw (8) and
bolt (7) as shown in (Figure A2). Attach the operating cord to the push bar using the
U shaped clips (9).

Installing connecting pipe (Figure B)
Install the connecting pipe by pushing it over the opening of the leaf blower. Twist
until handle is upright to secure into position.
Warning! The connecting pipe is an important safety feature and it must not be
removed while the Garden Vac is running.

To secure the leaf bag attach the loop on the bag to the hook on the handle at point 3.

The height of the leaf blower can be increased or decreased by pulling out the lever (A).

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning! Before using this electrical machine, read and follow the safety
instructions and the directions given below. Also ensure that you know how to disconnect it
in case of an emergency. Incorrect use of the machine can cause severe injuries.
1. Before use
Inspect the Garden Vac for signs of damage.
Do not use the Garden Vac if the parts (switch, motor cover, syphon) and/or the
cable are damaged or very worn.
Ensure that the Vac is disconnected before switching on the machine.
Make sure that the power supply voltage corresponds to that specified on the rating
plate.
Ensure that the leaf holding bag is attached correctly.
2. Use / Responsibility
To prevent accidents keep the work area clean.
Keep children away from the vac.
Protect your eyes properly when using the machine.
Wear suitable clothes. Do not wear loose clothes because they can get stuck in the
moving parts of the machine.
Do not use the machine during rainfall or in damp or wet conditions.
Do not use the machine near a swimming pool when someone is swimming. If the
machine falls in the water, there is a danger of fatal electrical shock. Switch off the
machine and pull out the plug immediately.

To avoid over heating and damage to the motor avoid picking up anything that
could become caught in the machine, such as fishing lines, ropes, plastic bags or
other similar objects. If you do pick up any of these objects switch off the motor and
do not continue to run until the motor has cooled down.
Never use the machine if the safety components are damaged.
Do not hold the machine by the cable; this can damage the machine or cause an
electric shock.
When removing the plug pull on the plug and not the cable.
Take care not to trip over the extension cable when using the appliance.
Only use the appliance where there is good visibility.
3. If work is discontinued
Never leave the vac unattended when not in use.
When the work is finished, remove the plug and store the appliance in a secure
place.
When moving the appliance to another location to continue work firstly switch it off,
wait for the motor to stop moving and remove the plug.
4. Working environment
When in use, the appliance creates a lot of noise, so before use familiarise yourself
with the working area first. This will help make sure that you can avoid any dangers
that may not be heard when the appliance is in use.
5. Electrical safety
Check the electricity cable for damages
Do not use the Garden Vac if the electrical cable is damaged. If the cable or the
plug is damaged when you are working, remove the plug immediately.
The socket for the extension cable should be waterproof. Use only the permitted
extension cable.
If there is a problem that you cannot solve, contact your local hardware store.
BEFORE USING THE GARDEN VAC, READ AND UNDERSTAND
THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FIRST
1. Before use make sure that all of the bolts, pins and screws are properly tightened.
2. Before using the machine, make sure that the handle is fitted tightly and that the
leaf bag is correctly attached.
3. Make sure the on/off switch on the handle, is in the off position.
4. To start use:
Switch on the Garden Vac before reaching the leaves.
Pick up the leaves by pushing the Garden Vac forwards.
Warning!
Before starting work, ensure that the area does not have any hard or long objects
(like small stones, branches etc ).
After the Garden Vac is switched off, the blower will continue to rotate.

U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE
GREEN/YELLOW EARTH
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter L or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter E or (earth symbol) and is coloured GREEN or
GREEN/YELLOW.
