VOL – Volume;
MONO– Mono or Stereo;
TA – Traffic announcement;
AF – Alternative frequency;
PTY – Program type;
BAS – Bass;
TRE – Treble;
BAL – Left and right balance;
FAD – Front and rear balance;
Turn the regulation knob (2) right or left to change the parameters.
RDS
Radio Data System – RDS – is a broadcasting service that allows FM stations to send
additional digital information along with the regular radio program signal.
PI – Program Identification – it is a code that identified RDS stations, is unique for each station.
PS – Program Service Name – the name of current station, it is shown on the display. Press
button (12) to turn on/off the function.
AF – Alternative Frequencies – the list(s) of alternative frequencies give information on the
various transmitters broadcasting the same program in the same or adjacent reception area. If
the main frequency should get worse, the radio will tune automatically to the strongest
alternative frequency. Press button (11) to turn on/off the function or press knob (2) in
sequence to select AF function, then turn the knob clockwise or anti clockwise to turn on/off the
function.
TA – Traffic Announcement – TA Standby Reception allows the unit to switch temporarily to
Traffic Announcement (TA) from the current source (AUX IN or USB mode). Press button (14)
to turn on/off the function or press knob (2) in sequence to select TA function, then turn the
knob clockwise or anti clockwise to turn on/off the function.
PTY – Program Type Codes – this code is used to designate the current program material
being broadcast. With this feature, you can search the programs that match the selected
program type, which is chosen from a specific list of types. Press button (8) to turn on/off the
function, then press button (4) or (5) to select the program type or press knob (2) in sequence
to select PTY function, then turn the knob clockwise or anti clockwise to turn on/off the function,
then press button (4) or (5) to select the program type.
Factory default reset
Press the button (6) for the following reasons:
- initial installation of the appliance when all wiring is completed;
- all the function buttons do not operate;
- error symbol on the display.
Press the button (6) with either a ballpoint pen or thin metal object.
If after pressing RESET button the unit still does not function properly, use a cotton swab
soaked in isopropyl alcohol to clean the socket on the back of front panel.
