IMPORTANT SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 45 lbs.
Do not allow anyone under the lift when the lift is in use.
Use right screw to install the lift. Make sure this product is safely and securely mounted and
positioned.
Do not use any harsh abrasives, detergents or anything containing ammonia to clean your lift.
This lift is designed for indoor use only.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS COULD
RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT OR SERIOUS INJURY TO YOU!
LIFT USE AND CARE
Do not modify the lift in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair the function and/or
safety and could affect the life of the equipment. There are specific applications for which the lift
was designed.
Always check of damaged or worn out parts before using the lift. Broken parts will affect
the lift operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
Store idle aluminum lift. When lift is not in use, store it in a secure place out of the reach of
children. Inspect it for good working condition prior to storage and before re-use.
ASSEMBLY
1. Unpack and identify all parts as listed.
2. For best results, mount the lift assemblies so that the hooks are directly above the seat and the
handle bar. You can also mount the entire assembly to a board, and mount the board to the
ceiling joists.
3. Measure the distance between the handle bars and the back of the seat. This is the bike
measurement.
4. Tie a double knot on rope end and feed the rope through the square hole on front lift (FIG.1).
Knot on rope will be between the lift and ceiling.
5. Locate ceiling joists and mark bike measurement where lifts will be installed. Drill 1/8 inch pilot
holes and mount lifts using wood screws.
6. Feed the rope through the lifts and hooks (FIG.2). Thread rope down through both parts of the
locking mechanism (FIG.3).
7. Mount the rope cleat to wall stud using wood screws. Do not cut rope; when bike is raised, the
excess rope should be stored on this cleat (FIG.5).

OPERATION
For operating the lift, lower the hook and attach to handle bar and seat. Make sure rope is not
twisted. The bike can be raised by pulling the rope. The rope will lock in place with each pull
towards the back, preventing the bike from falling (FIG.4). For safety, tie the rope onto the cleat and
wind the excess around it.
To lower the bike, pull rope towards the front lift, maintaining tension on rope. This will keep the
locking mechanism open and allow the bike to be lowered. Slowly let the rope out as the bike lowers.
Once the bike is low enough, remove it from the hooks and tie the rope back onto the cleat.
