Before connection, turn off all equipment and read the appropriate operating instructions.
Make sure to use the pair of supplied RF coaxial cables
Use the pair of supplied RF coaxial cables only when you make connections to the unit through its RF IN and RF OUT terminals. Striping may
appear and disrupt images on the TV if you use different cables for connection.
The different levels of picture quality output are listed below in order from highest to lowest.

Control with HDMI (HDAVI Control
TM
)
HDMI is the next-generation interface for digital devices. When connected to an HDMI compatible
unit, an uncompressed digital audio and video signal is transmitted. You can enjoy high quality,
digital video and audio with just one cord.
• You do not have to connect the included audio/video cable to the television.
What is HDAVI Control?
HDAVI Control is a convenient function that offers linked operations of this unit, and a Panasonic TV (VIERA)
or receiver under HDAVI Control. You can use this function by connecting the equipment with the HDMI
cable.
With HDMI (HDAVI Control) you can:
• Power on link: The television will automatically turn on when you operate this unit.
• Power off link: This unit will automatically set to standby mode when you set the television to standby
mode.
