There is treasure hidden on Wally’s Big Island and the water voles want to snatch it. Only the
lighthouse keeps them away. But oh dear! The lamp is broken and in the darkness the voles
are taking the opportunity to sail closely by in their cutter. But the experienced lighthouse-
keeper Wally Walrus has a last minute rescue plan! Lets quickly build new lighthouses on the
neighboring island and illuminate the sea, so that the voles will have
to beat a retreat as quickly as they appear. And so the race against
time begins. Will you manage to fi nish all the lighthouses before
the water voles’ boat reaches Wally’s Island?

Game Idea
Racing against the approach of the boat of the water voles to Wally’s Big Island the players
build lighthouses on the neighboring islands. Each island has its own two island colors, which
have to be taken into account when building a lighthouse. A fi nished lighthouse is made up
of four lighthouse disks of alternating island colors with a yellow light on top. The two dice
determine whether the voles’ boat is moved or if a lighthouse continues to be built. If the latter
is not possible Wally Walrus moves ahead one island. In order to fi nish their lighthouses faster
the players may also share lighthouse disks with each other. Also, once Wally has fi nished a
complete trip around the islands, another lighthouse disk may be added.
The aim of the game is to build all the lighthouses before the water voles’ boat reaches Wally’s
Island.
Preparation of the Game
Place Wally’s Island in the center of the table. Distribute the island cards according to the
number of players. If there are three or four players each player gets two island cards, if there
are two players each player receives four island cards. On one of the island cards there is the
picture of Wally Walrus. This card must be among the island cards you play with. Turn the island
cards face down, shuffl e them and distribute them. Each player places them in a row in front
of him. Take the eight sea cards and arrange them in a route that leads to Wally’s Island. Place
the boat in front of the fi rst sea card and Wally Walrus next to the island showing his picture.
Distribute the lighthouse disks and the top lights around the big island within easy reach of all
players. Get both dice ready.

How to Play
Play in a clockwise direction. Whoever has been inside the top of a lighthouse most recently
starts and rolls both dice.
What do the dice show?
• One or two boats?
Watch out! Lighthouse ambush!
Place the boat on the next sea card in the direction of the big island.
Attention:
Even if both dice show the boat symbol, the boat is only
moved ahead one sea card.
Have you played several rounds and the boat has reached Wally’s Island?
The water voles catch the treasure!
Bad luck! You did not manage to fi nish the lighthouses in time and lose altogether. Quickly
have another go.
• One or two colors?
Things are progressing!
Take the corresponding lighthouse disks and place them according to their color on your
lighthouses or those of the other players.
Building a Lighthouse:
You are free to choose which island color you start a lighthouse with. Place
the fi rst disk in the hole in the center of the island. The remaining three disks
will then be stacked upon that one in alternating colors. In order to complete
a lighthouse a yellow light must be the fi nal one placed on top.
Wally Walrus moves on:
If at a certain point you can’t place one or both lighthouse disks Wally Walrus
sets off. Return the disk/s to the center of the table and move Wally the
corresponding number of islands ahead.
Once he returns to the island from where he initially set off or if he goes
passed it you can take any suitable disk from the center and stack it
accordingly.
• A boat and a color?
The water voles can’t be stopped!
First move the boat one sea card forward. Then take a lighthouse disk of the color on the die
and carry on building one of your lighthouses or pass it on to a player who needs the color
for his lighthouse.
If nobody can use the lighthouse disk you return it to the center of the table and move Wally
one island ahead. Each time he arrives back at the island from where he set off you are lucky
and can take a lighthouse disk from the center and pass it on to another player.

Then it’s the turn of the next player to roll the dice.
Always bear in mind the following once you have rolled the dice:
First move the water voles’ boat and then carry on constructing a lighthouse. Wally can only be
moved ahead if no lighthouse construction can be continued at that moment.
End of the Game
Once all the lighthouses are fi nished and are thus illuminating the sea before the boat has
reached Wally’s Island, you win the game together. Hooray! The treasure has been rescued!
However if the boat reaches Wally’s Island before your lighthouse buildings are complete,
then you are hit with water voles’ blues. The voles jump off the boat and catch the treasure.
Unfortunately you all lose together.
This applies even if in that very turn you rolled the color that you needed to fi nish the last
lighthouse.
Hint:
The game gets more diffi cult if at the beginning you place fewer sea cards.
Competitive variation
Lets begin the big lighthouse building competition!
In this competition each player tries to finish his lighthouses first and does not give away any
lighthouse disks. The variation is played according to the basic game with the following chan-
ges:
• If there are two players, each player takes 3 island cards.
• You only lay out three sea cards and the big island. Each time a player sets the boat on the
big island he may remove a disk from a lighthouse of another player and place it back in the
center of the table.
• Then the boat is placed back in front of the first sea card.
• Lighthouses that have been finished may not be touched; they are safe.
• If a player cannot use one or both colors on the dice for his lighthouse he moves Wally Walrus
ahead one or two islands.
• The player who finishes his lighthouses first, wins the game.

The authors
Thorsten Löpmann
, born in 1970 in Duisburg, was already an
enthusiastic player of society games in his youth and published his fi rst
board game in 2000. He is member of the Educational Play Network
of the Remscheid Academy and works full time as the head of a facility
for youth welfare services and as a freelance game author and lecturer.
Carmen Löpmann
was born in 1978 in Stadtoldendorf. She trained
as a remedial teacher and educator and with her husband Thorsten,
published her fi rst game
Musicians of Brementown!
, with HABA in
2005. She also works as a remedial therapist with a residential group.
Arts and craft activities count amongst her hobbies. The subject of this
game is due to her special fondness for lighthouses.
They live together with their three-year-old daughter Leana in the
region of Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis region (Rhenish Uplands). They
dedicate this game to their daughter who already enjoys playing small
games with rules.
The illustrator
Charlotte Wagner
was born in 1970 in Dortmund. As a child she
already loved and drew animals of all kinds. She studied graphic design
in Dortmund and Bergen (Norway) and since 1999 has worked as an
illustrator for different publishing houses.
Up until now she has particularly liked drawing animals.

游戏概要:
围栏让水鼠船长的船尽快到达大岛,玩家们尽快在大岛旁边的小岛
建起灯塔,每座小岛只有两种其必须建造的灯塔颜色,
一个完整的灯塔由四块灯塔积木和
一个黄色的顶灯组成,两个色子
决定水鼠船只的移动以及灯塔是否继续建造,如果灯塔
不能继续建造灯塔管理员向前面一个小岛移动,为了让灯塔建得更快,
玩家们必须互相分享自己的灯塔积木,一旦灯塔管理员经过
一座小岛,这座岛上就多加一个灯塔积木.
游戏的目的就是在水鼠船长的船到达大岛之前将周围小岛的灯塔建好.
游戏准备:

怎样建成一座灯塔:
灯塔底部的颜色任意,最上面的三块积木颜色必须交叉堆叠,
两块一样颜色积木不能叠在一起,最后灯塔上面必须防置一个顶灯.
灯塔管理员怎么移动:
如果你收集到的灯塔积木不能建造灯塔了,那么灯塔管理员就要出发了,
将圆积木放回桌子上,将管理员移动与不能走步的圆积木
数目一样的步数.
一旦经过管理员走过的小岛,
玩家可以任意搭一个灯塔积木在小岛上.
• 一只船和一种颜色?
无法阻止水鼠船长的脚步,
先将小船向前移动一步,然后建起一座对应的灯塔,
如果该积木自己无法用,那么可以将该
积木转交给别的玩家,
如果没有玩家可以使用该积木,
那么就将该积木放回桌子中间,将管理员向前走一步,

Leuchtturmwärter Wally Walross in letzter Minute die rettende Idee: Auf den Nachbarinseln
sollen ruck zuck neue Leuchttürme errichtet werden und das Meer erhellen,
damit die Ratten genauso schnell ihren Rückzug antreten, wie sie
gekommen sind. Ein Wettlauf mit der Zeit beginnt. Schafft ihr es alle

Spielidee
Im Wettlauf mit dem Boot der Wasserratten, das sich Wallys großer Insel nähert, errichten die
Spieler Leuchttürme auf den umliegenden Inseln. Jede Insel hat ihre eigenen zwei Inselfarben,
die beim Leuchtturmbau berücksichtigt werden müssen. Ein fertiger Leuchtturm besteht aus vier
sich farblich abwechselnden Leuchtturmscheiben der jeweiligen Inselfarben und einer gelben
Abschlussleuchte.
Die beiden Würfel geben an, ob das Boot bewegt oder an den Leuchttürmen weitergebaut
wird. Wenn an keinem der Leuchttürme weitergebaut werden kann, läuft Leuchtturmwärter
Wally eine Insel weiter.
Damit es mit dem Bau schneller geht, schenken sich die Spieler gegenseitig auch
Leuchtturmscheiben. Ebenso darf bei jeder Inselrunde, die der Leuchtturmwärter geschafft hat,
an einem Leuchtturm weitergebaut werden.
Ziel des Spiels ist es, alle Leuchttürme aufgebaut zu haben, bevor das Boot der Wasserratten
Wallys Insel erreicht.
Spielvorbereitung
Legt Wallys Insel in die Tischmitte. Haltet entsprechend der Spieleranzahl Inselkarten bereit: Bei
drei oder vier Spielern erhält jeder Spieler zwei Inseln, bei zwei Spielern erhält jeder vier Inseln.
Auf einer der Inseln ist Wally Walross abgebildet. Diese Insel muss im Spiel sein. Verdeckt die
Inseln, mischt und verteilt sie. Jeder legt sie offen in eine Reihe vor sich aus. Nehmt die acht
Meereskarten und reiht sie zu einem Seeweg hin zu Wallys großer Insel aneinander. Stellt das
Boot vor die erste Meereskarte und Wally Walross neben die Inselkarte mit seinem Bild. Verteilt
die Leuchtturmscheiben und Leuchten um die große Insel herum, so dass alle Spieler sie gut
erreichen können. Haltet die beiden Würfel bereit.

Spielablauf
Ihr spielt im Uhrzeigersinn. Wer zuletzt auf einem Leuchtturm gestanden hat, beginnt und
würfelt mit beiden Würfeln.
Was hast du gewürfelt?
• Ein oder zwei Boote?
Achtung, Ratten in Sicht!
Setze das Boot auf die nächste Meereskarte in Richtung der großen Insel.
Beachte:
Auch wenn beide Würfel das Boot zeigen, wird es nur eine
Meereskarte weiterbewegt.
Habt ihr schon mehrere Runden gespielt und das Boot hat Wallys Insel erreicht?
Die Wasserratten schnappen sich den Schatz!
Schade, ihr habt es leider nicht rechtzeitig geschafft eure Leuchttürme zu bauen und verliert
nun gemeinsam. Versucht es doch gleich noch einmal.
• Eine oder zwei Farben?
Es geht voran!
Nimm die entsprechenden Leuchtturmscheiben und lege sie farblich passend auf deine
Leuchttürme oder die deiner Mitspieler.
Der Leuchtturmbau:
Mit welcher der beiden Inselfarben ihr den Leuchtturm beginnt, könnt ihr
selbst entscheiden. Legt die erste Scheibe in das Loch der Insel. Darauf
werden dann farblich abwechselnd die anderen drei Scheiben gestapelt.
Wenn ein Leuchtturm fertig ist, legt ihr als Abschluss eine gelbe Leuchte
darauf.
Wally Walross wandert weiter:
Wenn es mit dem Leuchtturmbau nicht weitergeht, weil du eine oder beide
Leuchtturmscheiben nicht verbauen kannst, setzt sich Wally Walross in Bewegung.
Lege die Leuchtturmscheibe/n zurück in die Tischmitte und rücke Wally
entsprechend eine oder zwei Inseln weiter.
Kommt er dabei wieder auf seiner Startinsel an oder zieht darüber hinaus, darfst du
dir eine passende Scheibe aus der Mitte nehmen und verbauen.
• Ein Boot und eine Farbe?
Die Wasserratten sind nicht zu bremsen!
Setze zuerst das Boot eine Meereskarte weiter. Nimm dann eine Leuchtturmscheibe der
gewürfelten Farbe und baue damit an einem deiner Leuchttürme weiter oder schenke sie
einem Mitspieler, der sie verbauen kann.

Kann keiner die Leuchtturmscheibe der gewürfelten Farbe für seinen Leuchtturm verwenden,
legst du sie in die Tischmitte zurück und darfst Wally eine Insel weiterziehen. Kommt er
wieder bei seiner Startinsel an, hattet ihr doch noch Glück und du darfst eine geeignete
Leuchtturmscheibe nehmen und weiterverschenken.
Anschließend ist der nächste Spieler an der Reihe und würfelt.
Nach dem Würfeln müsst ihr immer die folgende Abfolge beachten:
Zuerst wird das Boot der Ratten bewegt und dann an einem Leuchtturm weitergebaut. Wally
wird erst zur nächsten Insel gesetzt, wenn an keinem der Leuchttürme weitergebaut werden
kann.
Spielende
Wenn alle Leuchttürme fertig sind und das Meer erleuchten, bevor das Boot Wallys Insel
erreicht, habt ihr das Spiel gewonnen. Hurra, der Schatz ist gerettet!
Erreicht aber das Boot die große Insel vorher, ist der Rattenjammer groß. Die Ratten springen
vom Boot und holen sich den Schatz. Ihr habt leider gemeinsam verloren.
Das gilt auch, wenn ihr im selben Zug eine Farbe gewürfelt habt, die für die Fertigstellung des
letzten Leuchtturms notwendig wäre.
Tipp:
Das Spiel wird schwerer, wenn ihr zu Beginn weniger Meereskarten auslegt.
Wettbewerbsvariante
Auf zum großen Leuchtturm-Wettbauen!
In der Wettbewerbsvariante versucht jeder Spieler die eigenen Leuchttürme als Erster zu errich-
ten und verschenkt keine Leuchtturmscheiben. Die Variante wird nach den Regeln des Grund-
spiels mit folgenden Änderungen gespielt.
•
Bei zwei Spielern erhält jeder drei Inselkarten.
•
Es werden nur drei Meereskarten und die große Insel ausgelegt. Immer wenn das Boot jetzt
die große Insel erreicht, darf er von einem Leuchtturm eines anderen Spielers eine Scheibe
wegnehmen und zurück in die Tischmitte legen.
•
Danach wird das Boot wieder vor die letzte Meereskarte gesetzt.
•
Fertige Leuchttürme dürfen nicht angetastet werden. Sie sind sicher.
•
Kann ein Spieler eine oder beide Würfelfarben für seinen Leuchtturmbau nicht nutzen,
zieht er Wally Walross entsprechend eine oder zwei Inseln weiter.
•
Der Spieler, der als Erster seine Leuchttürme fertig gebaut hat, gewinnt das Spiel.

Thorsten Löpmann
in jungen Jahren leidenschaftlich gern Gesellschaftsspiele und
veröffentlichte sein erstes Brettspiel im Jahr 2000. Er ist Mitglied des
spielpädagogischen Netzwerks Spielpädagogik an der Akademie
Remscheid und arbeitet hauptberufl ich als stellvertretender
Einrichtungsleiter in der Jugendhilfe und freiberufl ich als Spielautor und
Dozent.
Carmen Löpmann

Sie arbeitet in einer heilpädagogisch-therapeutischen Wohngruppe
und zählt vor allem handwerklich-künstlerische Tätigkeiten zu ihren
Hobbys. Das vorliegende Spielthema ist ihrer besonderen Vorliebe für
Leuchttürme zu verdanken.
Gemeinsam mit ihrer 3-jährigen Tochter Leana leben beide im
Rheinisch-Bergischen Kreis. Sie widmen dieses Spiel ihrer Tochter, die
selber bereits gerne kleinere Regelspiele spielt.
Die Illustratorin
Charlotte Wagner
wurde 1970 in Dortmund geboren. Schon als
Kind liebte und zeichnete sie Tiere aller Art. Sie studierte Grafi k-Design
in Dortmund und in Bergen (Norwegen) und arbeitet seit 1999 als
Illustratorin für verschiedene Verlage.
Tiere zeichnet sie bis heute besonders gern.

Sur la grande île où vit le gardien Maurice Morse, est caché un trésor qui intéresse de jeunes
moussaillons. Profi tant d’une panne de lumière dans le phare, ils se mettent à ramer dans le
noir en direction de l’île. Maurice, le gardien du phare expérimenté, a une idée géniale :
vite installer de nouveaux phares sur les îles voisines et éclairer la mer pour
que les moussaillons rebroussent chemin. Une course contre la montre
commence. Réussirez-vous à construire tous les phares avant que
le bateau n’accoste sur l’île de Maurice Morse ?

Idée
Pendant que le bateau des moussaillons se rapproche de la grande île au trésor, les joueurs
construisent des phares sur les îles avoisinantes. Chaque île a ses deux propres couleurs qui
sont prises en compte dans la construction. Un phare terminé comprend quatre plaquettes aux
couleurs de l’île respective, posées en alternance, ainsi qu’une lampe posée tout en haut.
Les deux dés indiquent si l’on doit déplacer le bateau ou continuer la construction des phares.
S’il n’est pas possible de construire les phares, le gardien Maurice avance d’une île.
Pour que la construction aille plus vite, les joueurs se donnent mutuellement des plaquettes de
phare. De même, à chaque fois que le gardien a fait le tour des îles, on a le droit de continuer la
construction d’un phare.
Le but du jeu est d’avoir construit tous les phares avant que le bateau des jeunes moussaillons
n’arrive sur l’île de Maurice.
Préparatifs
Posez l’île de Maurice Morse au milieu de la table. Préparez les cartes d’île en fonction du
nombre de joueurs. Si vous jouez à trois ou quatre, chaque joueur prend deux îles ; à deux
joueurs, chacun prend quatre îles. Sur l’une des îles est illustré Maurice Morse. Cette île doit
être obligatoirement dans le jeu. Retournez les îles, mélangez-les et répartissez-les. Chacun pose
les siennes devant lui les unes à côté des autres, face visible. Prenez les huit cartes de la mer et
posez-les en un circuit menant à l’île de Maurice.
Mettez le bateau devant la première carte de mer et Maurice Morse à côté de la carte de l’île où
il est représenté. Répartissez les plaquettes de phare
et les lampes autour de la grande
île de manière à ce qu’elles soient bien accessibles à tous. Préparez les deux dés.

Déroulement de la partie
Vous jouez dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre. Celui qui est entré en dernier dans un phare
commence en lançant les deux dés.
Que représentent les dés ?
• Un ou deux bateaux ?
Attention, moussaillons en vue !
Pose le bateau sur la carte de mer suivante en direction de la grande île.
Note :
même si les deux dés indiquent le bateau, on n’avance qu’une seule carte de mer.
Vous avez déjà joué plusieurs tours et le bateau est déjà arrivé sur l’île ?
Les moussaillons s’emparent du trésor !
Dommage, vous n’avez pas réussi à construire vos phares à temps et vous perdez tous
ensemble. Faites vite une nouvelle partie.
• Un ou deux couleurs ?
Ça progresse !
Prends les plaquettes de phare correspondantes et pose-les sur tes phares ou sur ceux des
autres joueurs.
Comment construire un phare ?
C’est à vous de décider avec quelle couleur de votre île vous voulez démarrer
la construction du phare. Posez la première plaquette dans le trou de l’île. Les
trois autres plaquettes sont posées dessus en alternant les couleurs. Quand
un phare est fi ni, vous posez une lampe jaune pour terminer la construction.
Maurice Morse continue son chemin :
S’il est impossible de construire des phares parce que tu ne peux pas poser de
plaquette(s), Maurice se met en route. Remets la/les plaquette(s) de phare au
milieu de la table et avance Maurice de manière correspondante d’une ou de
deux îles.
S’il revient alors sur son île de départ ou s’il la dépasse, tu as le droit de
prendre une plaquette qui convient et de t’en servir pour construire un phare.
• Un bateau et une couleur ?
Impossible de ralentir les moussaillons !
Avance d’abord le bateau d’une carte de mer. Prends ensuite une plaquette de phare de la
couleur du dé et pose-la sur l’un de tes phares ou donne-la à un autre joueur qui pourra la
poser.

Si personne ne peut utiliser la plaquette de la couleur du dé pour construire son phare, tu la
remets au milieu de la table et avances Maurice d’une île. S’il revient alors à son île de départ,
vous avez de la chance, car tu as le droit de prendre une plaquette de la couleur qui convient
et de la donner à un autre joueur.
C’est ensuite au tour du joueur suivant de lancer les dés.
Après avoir lancé les dés, vous devez toujours jouer dans l’ordre suivant :
On doit d’abord déplacer le bateau, puis poser une plaquette de phare. Maurice n’est posé sur
l’île suivante que s’il n’est pas possible de construire un phare.
Fin de la partie
Si tous les phares sont terminés et éclairent la mer avant que le bateau n’arrive sur l’île de
Maurice, vous avez gagné la partie. Hourra, le trésor est sauvé !
Mais si le bateau arrive sur l’île avant que les phares ne soient tous construits, les moussaillons
jubilent : ils débarquent et vont chercher le trésor. Vous avez malheureusement perdu la partie
tous ensemble.
La partie est aussi perdue si, pendant le même tour, vous obtenez une couleur sur le dé qui
aurait convenu pour terminer la construction du dernier phare.
Conseil :
Le jeu sera plus compliqué si vous posez moins de cartes de mer au début de
la partie.
Variante compétitive
Que le concours de construction de phares commence !
Dans cette variante, chaque joueur essaye de construire en premier ses propres phares, c’est-à-
dire qu’il ne donne pas de plaquettes à d’autres joueurs. Sinon, on joue comme expliqué dans le
jeu de base, avec les différences suivantes :
•
A 2 joueurs, chacun prend trois 3 cartes d’île.
•
On pose seulement trois cartes de mer et la grande île. A chaque fois que le bateau arrive sur
la grande île, le joueur a le droit d’enlever une plaquette d’un phare d’un autre joueur et de
la remettre au milieu de la table.
•
Ensuite, le bateau est remis devant la dernière carte de mer.
•
On n’a pas le droit de toucher aux phares terminés. Ils sont en sécurité.
•
Si un joueur ne peut utiliser aucune couleur de dé pour construire son phare, il avance
Maurice Morse de manière correspondante d’une ou de deux îles.
•
Le joueur qui aura terminé ses phares en premier gagne la partie.
