Connecting USB devices
ConnectaUSBdevicetoyourcomputerbyinsertingtheUSBplug(TypeA)
intotheUSBportonyourcomputer.
ThefirsttimeyouplugaUSBdeviceintoaparticularUSBportonyour
computer,Windowsautomaticallyinstallsadriverforthatdevice.Afterthe
driverisinstalled,you
canreconnectthedevicewithoutperformingany
additionalsteps.
BeforedisconnectingaUSBstoragedevice,makesureyourcomputerhas
finishedtransferringdatatoorfromthatdevice.ClicktheSafelyRemove
HardwareandEjectMediaiconinthenotificationareaoftheWindows
desktopscreentoremovethedevicebefore
disconnecting.
Note: Typically,Windowsdetectsanewdeviceafterconnectingit,andtheninstallsthe
driverautomatically.However,somedevicesmayrequireyoutoinstallthedriver
beforeconnecting.Checkthedocumentationprovidedbythedevice’smanufacturer
beforeconnectingthedevice.

IfyourUSBdeviceusesapowercord,connectthedevicetoapowersourcebefore

Connecting a Bluetooth device
IfyourcomputerhasanintegratedBluetoothadaptercard,itcanconnectto
andtransferdatawirelesslytoorfromotherBluetoothenableddevices,such
asnotebookcomputers,PDAs,andcellphones.Youcantransferdata
betweenthesedevicesatarangeofupto10metersinopenspace.
Enabling Bluetooth and WLAN communications on your computer
PressF7()todisableairplanemode.
Note: Theactualmaximumrangemayvaryduetointerferenceandtransmissionbarriers.
Forthebesttransferspeed,placethedeviceasneartoyourcomputeraspossible.
