Safety Instructions
Be sure to observe the following security instructions for handling the
FRITZ!Fon to protect yourself and the FRITZ!Fon from harm:
• Never let liquids get inside FRITZ!Fon. Otherwise, electric
shocks or short circuits may result.
• Protect the FRITZ!Fon from direct sunlight.
• The FRITZ!Fon contains hazardous components and should on-
ly be opened by authorized repair technicians.
– Do not open the FRITZ!Fon housing.
– If FRITZ!Fon needs to be repaired, please take it to a spe-
cialized vendor.
• Dust, moisture and vapors as well as caustic cleaners or sol-
vents can damage the FRITZ!Fon.
– Protect FRITZ!Fon from dust, moisture and fumes.
– Switch the FRITZ!Fon before cleaning.
– Clean FRITZ!Fon with a slightly moist, lint-free cloth.
Note for Hearing Aid Users
If you wear a hearing aid, FRITZ!Fon can cause unpleasant noises.
These are caused by radio signals coupled into the hearing aid.
Prerequisites for Operating FRITZ!Fon
• You need a DECT base station that is connected with a tele-
phone landline or the Internet.
