2 GENERAL SAFETY RULES
If your spreader does not spread evenly, be sure the FRONT on the gear points to the
front of the spreader. The impeller must turn clockwise. Reversing the gear will cause the
impeller to turn counter clockwise. Clean the impeller plate after each use. Fertilizer stuck
on the impeller blades will cause uneven spreading.
Your spreader is designed to be pushed at about 5 km/h, which is a brisk walking speed.
Slower or faster speeds will change the spread patterns. Wet fertilizer will also change the
spread pattern and flow rate. Clean your spreader thoroughly after each use. Wash
between the cover plate and bottom of the hopper.
3 ASSEMBLY
3.1 Figure 1
Turn the hopper (26) upside down and attach the frame (20) using four screws ST6.3x38.
3.2 Figure 2
Slide the impeller (22) onto the vertical shaft of the gear wheel and axle assembly (27).
Insert the screw M4x20 (7) through the impeller and the top of the vertical shaft.
3.3 Figure 3
Find the two wheel assembly frames (17) for mounting the wheels (25).
Connect the right and left wheel assembly frames with the frame by using the bolts
M6X60, secure with a lock nut M6. Slip the gear wheel and axle assembly (27) with the
vertical axle pointing downwards into the central opening at the bottom of the hopper (26).
Slip the left and the right wheel assembly frame (17) on the horizontal drive axle of the
gear wheel and axle assembly (27).
Attach the left and the right wheel assembly frame (17) to the hopper frame (20) with the
bolts M6x20 (1) and the lock nuts M6 (11) in the bottom opening.
Connect the two ends of the connecting tube (23) with the right and left wheel assembly
frames (17) by using bolts M6X40 (4), and secure them with a lock nut M6 (11).
Connect the connecting tube with the shaft support plate by using a bolt M6X35, the big
flat washer Ø6 and the lock nut M6.

3.4 Figure 4
Connect the left and the right wheel assembly frames (17) to the hopper frame (20) by
using the frame braces (29) with 4 hex bolts M6x35 (5) and 4 M6 lock nuts (11).
Attach one end of each frame brace to the outside of the hopper frame assembly by using
a bolt M6x35 and a M6 lock nut.
Attach the other end of each frame brace to the inside of the left and right wheel assembly
frames by using a bolt M6x35 and a M6 lock nut.
NOTE: The nuts and bolts do not have to be completely tightened yet.
3.5 Figure 5
First inflate the wheel tyres (2.0 bar).
Slip the inner axle bushing (14) onto the right side of the axle, pushing the inner axle
bushing (14) into the collar of the plastic tube of the right wheel assembly frame until tight.
Mount the drive wheel at the right side as follows: Slip the flat washer (16), the wheel (25)
and another flat washer (16) from the right side to the left side on the wheel axle. Turn the
wheel (25), until the boring hole at the inner side of the wheel aligns with the boring hole in
the wheel axle. Slide bolt M5x45 (6) through both boring holes. Fix this bolt with lock nut
M5. The wheel is secured in its position by means of a cotter pin. Push the cotter pin (13)
through the wheel axle. Bend the ends of the cotter pin (lower part) outwards to safely
secure the wheel.
Slip the inner axle bushing onto the left side of the axle, pushing the inner axle bushing
into the outer axle bushing until tight. Push the wheel onto the axle. Insert the flat washer
Ø16 and attach the axle end cap by tapping with a wooden or rubber mallet.
Then mount the left wheel. Slip the flat washer (16), the wheel (25) and another flat
washer (16) from the left side onto the right side of the wheel axle. The wheel is secured in
its position by means of a cotter pin. Push the cotter pin (13) through the wheel axle. Bend
the ends of the cotter pin (lower part) outwards to safely secure the wheel.
NOTE: The nuts and bolts do not have to be completely tightened yet.
NOTE: Insert the inner axle bushing into outer axle bushing and make sure
they are tight.
3.6 Figure 6
Mount the handle shaft (19) for the handles (18) between the two top ends of the wheel
assembly frames. Insert the two bolts M6x45 (6) through the wheel assembly frames and the
handle shaft, then fasten these bolts with the lock nuts M6.
Go back and tighten all nuts and bolts assembled so far. Do not
overtighten.
NOTE: In the following step, the handle can be adjusted higher or lower,
depending on the user’s preference.
Before installing the gear wheel assembly, the upper handles and the handle shaft, decide
which of the three positions will be most comfortable for the operator. If the middle or the
upper positions are chosen, use the handle spacer in the opening nearest to the handle grips.

3.7 Figure 7
Insert the bolts M6x45 through the upper left handle, and then through the handle spacer
and the upper handle on the right side, screw them tight with the lock nut M6.
Tighten nuts securely.
3.8 Figure 8
Push the adjustable handle of the adjustment and lever assembly (28) to the lowest
position.
Slide the adjustment cable through the clamping bracket of the guide plate of the handle
shaft.
Clamp the metal sleeve part of the adjusting cable between the bracket (the end of the
tube and the bracket being positioned at the same height), and fasten the bracket with 2
Philips screws.
Insert one end of the adjusting cable from the right side to the left side into the smallest
opening at the end of the adjustment and the lever assembly (28).
Then mount the adjustment and lever assembly (28) to the connection tube, move the
lever forwards / backwards, and check the swift movement of the lever and the correct
function of the shut-off valve at the bottom of the hopper (Fig. 11).
4 ADJUSTMENTS (FIG. 10)
To operate this spreader, push the handle to its lowest position (downwards). You can change
the position of the wing nut on the adjustment and lever assembly to adjust the space of the
opening between the hopper and the adjustable plate, as per your need when spreading.
Release the 2 nuts to adjust the length of the cable to make sure the opening on the bottom of
the hopper is fully open or closed when the handle in the highest or lowest position.
