3.4 Figure 4
▪ Connect the left and the right wheel assembly frames (17) to the hopper frame (20) by
using the frame braces (29) with 4 hex bolts M6x35 (5) and 4 M6 lock nuts (11).
▪ Attach one end of each frame brace to the outside of the hopper frame assembly by using
a bolt M6x35 and a M6 lock nut.
▪ Attach the other end of each frame brace to the inside of the left and right wheel assembly
frames by using a bolt M6x35 and a M6 lock nut.
NOTE: The nuts and bolts do not have to be completely tightened yet.
3.5 Figure 5
▪ First inflate the wheel tyres (2.0 bar).
▪ Slip the inner axle bushing (14) onto the right side of the axle, pushing the inner axle
bushing (14) into the collar of the plastic tube of the right wheel assembly frame until tight.
▪ Mount the drive wheel at the right side as follows: Slip the flat washer (16), the wheel (25)
and another flat washer (16) from the right side to the left side on the wheel axle. Turn the
wheel (25), until the boring hole at the inner side of the wheel aligns with the boring hole in
the wheel axle. Slide bolt M5x45 (6) through both boring holes. Fix this bolt with lock nut
M5. The wheel is secured in its position by means of a cotter pin. Push the cotter pin (13)
through the wheel axle. Bend the ends of the cotter pin (lower part) outwards to safely
secure the wheel.
▪ Slip the inner axle bushing onto the left side of the axle, pushing the inner axle bushing
into the outer axle bushing until tight. Push the wheel onto the axle. Insert the flat washer
Ø16 and attach the axle end cap by tapping with a wooden or rubber mallet.
▪ Then mount the left wheel. Slip the flat washer (16), the wheel (25) and another flat
washer (16) from the left side onto the right side of the wheel axle. The wheel is secured in
its position by means of a cotter pin. Push the cotter pin (13) through the wheel axle. Bend
the ends of the cotter pin (lower part) outwards to safely secure the wheel.
NOTE: The nuts and bolts do not have to be completely tightened yet.
NOTE: Insert the inner axle bushing into outer axle bushing and make sure
they are tight.
3.6 Figure 6
Mount the handle shaft (19) for the handles (18) between the two top ends of the wheel
assembly frames. Insert the two bolts M6x45 (6) through the wheel assembly frames and the
handle shaft, then fasten these bolts with the lock nuts M6.
Go back and tighten all nuts and bolts assembled so far. Do not
overtighten.
NOTE: In the following step, the handle can be adjusted higher or lower,
depending on the user’s preference.
Before installing the gear wheel assembly, the upper handles and the handle shaft, decide
which of the three positions will be most comfortable for the operator. If the middle or the
upper positions are chosen, use the handle spacer in the opening nearest to the handle grips.
